High Prairie Inn

Not much.

It was dirty. I was there for 3 days and noticed the same garbage not picked up. The breakfast was not looked after and the garbage was not emptied. Some of the staff are not trained good enough and don't know what they are doing.

Smoking Rooms

Old, run down, beds were awful, pillows were rock hard & old. Had a hard time using the TV. The Hallways were dirty. Needs updating very badly.

The staff is wonderful to deal with. Rooms are cleaned well.

The beds were fairly uncomfortable to sleep in but they got the job done.

Staff was friendly, the room was ok

When walking into the hotel, it looks unkept and in need of repair, carpets curled up. It also has a restaurant and bar attached. The person who was the waiter and bartender smelt so bad that I could not stay! this was about hygiene! not pleasant.

Coffee in room was good

No knives at breakfast. Was told they were out for several days waiting on a shipment. I suggested they go to Walmart to pick some up. Out of coffee at breakfast. Had bagels but no way to cut them in half. Since no knives maybe they could have cut them

It is a rare smoking hotel

My room was absolutely filthy and the internet is the slowest I have ever encountered. Front desk staff told me that the owners refuse to put any money in this hotel and they are getting lots of guest complaints. Appallingly bad for a days inn.

Not clean, could not set the heat and water was cold

Room was nice and quiet and warm. Although there was quite a few guests, ther was very little noise within the area. Was also comfortable with the protocols in place to keep guests and staff safe.

Was not happy that the prepackaged breakfast meal offered had only three items - juice box, small yogurt and a granola bar. Have been to other hotels where the usual items offered prepandemic are available as requested. Need to improve process for meal.

The food from the pub was amazing. Great prices and huge portions that tasted amazing! Hotel it self was average. Rooms were clean, beds were ok. Staff was ok.

The comp breakfast was terrible. Their breakfast room was closed due to Covid. So we were given a bag with an orange, a yogurt, granola bar and juice box.

Breakfast was continental - and was as advertised - lots of toast and cereal.

The room temp was set to 80 degrees when we got there and it took a while for it to cool down.

It was the quietest hotel I have ever stayed at. We were on the first floor and zero noise.

Kind of dark in the room. Not enough lights

2 night stay, room never got cleaned , when I asked at front desk for clean towels at least , they had one in entire hotel.

Room was gross, missing shower curtain. Other people's food in the fridge. Charged two different credit cards, when it had already been paid for.

Desperate

Litter outside front entrance..I put it all into the garbage reciprocal.We were checked into an occupied room where a man was sleeping on the bed..the front desk blamed it on their new computer system..Local vagrant sitting on concrete step out side of entrance watching us and followed us to see our vehicle..
