Best Western Plus Mirage Hotel & Resort

The restaurant had lots of space and natural light. Rooms were clean.

Hotel appeared very dated. Rooms were also dated. The stop valve in the toilet wasn't working properly so unless you jiggled it the toilet would run all night.

The manager went above and beyond to help my husband that has mobility issues. They were very caring and helpfull. I will always stay there. The breakfast had lots to choose from as well. Room was very clean.

It is well-located and is clean with full service. The staff at the hotel is very nice and courteous.

A/C didn't work that well in the room... it was quite hot! Your indoor pool changing rooms smelt like urine and the pool floors were dirty... the pump for your kids water park was way to loud..it should be checked out!

We always like going to the Mirage. We live an hour away, so on birthday's or special occasions we like to have a little staycation, we love the pool area, and breakfast is wonderful. The staff is excellent..but the rooms...they need some love. The rooms that have rug seriously need to have it removed and replaced with something that is NOT rug. I rented a 2 bedroom suite., the bed in the one room was extremely tippy and seemed to have been broken once and never properly fixed. The pull out sofa was also nearly unusable, it had a large protruding bar down the length of it, .in the middle.. And those pool bathrooms...they have always had a horrendous smell to them, and what a glorious day it would be, if that could be remedied.

The beds were super comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was lovely, the restaurant on site was great as well. The staff were absolutely great to deal with.

Pool didn’t open until 4 pm. Hard to keep 3 kids away. Room without air conditioning was very hot and stuffy

Breakfast was wonderful. Devine was so helpful with our grandkids. Front desk staff was extremely helpful and accommodating when we were uncertain whether highway 3 would reopen for us to get home to yellowknife.

The pull out couch was a little difficult to open. The second bedroom without an air conditioning unit was stuffy and too warm. It would be nice if the pool was opened earlier for the kids.

The in house restaurant for dinner and breakfast was excellant!

I was told that our room was not yet ready, but I would receive a phone call when it was. I returned one hour later after no phone call to see a new staff person at the check in desk. Communication could be tightened up.

Very clean, great breakfast, very caring positive staff. Esp Teresa (?- in the breakfast area) a housekeeper cleaning in our hall the day we checked out (do not remember her name but she has one blue eye and one brown eye- she was very kind, efficient and made us feel comfortable), Damian and the other gentleman at the main desk were welcoming it felt like being welcomed by friends. It was a lovely stay after a long drive. Kudos to the pool staff as well.

The cost is high and while I recognize it costs money to give such good service, esp in High Level, it is hard in these times. If you could either reduce price without affecting staff salaries (as they weee exceptional). Also , if pool hours could be extended until 11pm for those doing long drives that would be great. Kudos to the pool staff as well.
