On the beach, convenient to restaurants and stores.Basic but clean accomadations priced accordingly.

Security-rooms used keyed locks and had older doors. Building exterior could be refreshed.

The location was beautiful.

There was no staff in the office. We called the emergency number . We could not get the tv or air conditioner to work. We finally realized that the switch to the air was not turned on. We got a text at 10:58 bout how to turn in the tv.

Bed was extremely comfortable. Kitchenet was well equipped. Bath tub was massive.

Could not get the TV working. Had to get assistance. Other guests were having same problem.

Location, cleanness, BBQ facilities, the staff.

No fans on the top of the stove, nor in the bathroom.

The place looks horrible on the outside but definitely a great deal. The rooms are actually quite nice, comfortable at least and clean. Owners were super nice. It's a road side motel, but if you're looking for a cheap comfortable clean place just to sleep for the night, it's perfect,,,but it's a little dumpy looking when you pull in. Nice point tho, it's right on the beach, which I really enjoyed!

Outside appearance was a bit creepy.

Could hear neighbors talking/snoring in our bedroom….and their alarm in morning and more talking!! Surprised that walls were so thin.

Great location right on the beach with private access, available chairs for use and a shower to rinse off after a dip. Nice to have a kitchenette with a full size fridge to use, although would benefit from a vent, microwave and knives that actually cut. Appreciated complimentary towels to use at the beach.

Terrible pillows. Rooms would benefit from a more thorough clean - not so lovely to see spiders/visible cobwebs around fan. Floors could do with a clean. I suppose they do not offer room refreshment while you're staying due to staffing shortages, which is unfortunate.

Bad

The room was very old and not well maintained. The bathroom was so old and sticky, windows had lots of debris, spider webs, spiders and others creatures. It was bad. We were staying at various hotels during our roadtrip and this one ruined Osoyoos for us. We looked into not even staying the second night. The private beach has a nice view, but the hotel doesnt do any maintenance at it either so all sorts of garbage there.

Friendly staff , affordable, central location, allowed me to check out later, so I didn’t have to sit in my car for 2 hrs .

I liked the couch and the set-up with the kitchen and the table. I liked that it was on the water.

The heater in the main room was not working. There was no one around to help me. I turned on the over to bake some dinner and it nearly went on fire. Huge billows of black smoke began to pour out of it. I immediately turned it off. There was oil - extremely flammable cooking out on and around the element. It was close to turning into flames. No smoke alarm! No one came to see what had happened, even though black smoke had filled the room.Not only was it cold, but I could not even use the over for heat.In the tiny bedroom, the heater was directly behind the head of the bed, so you had to literally breathe in the hot air while you slept. Although most of the hotels were full, this one was nearly empty, with most of the room having furniture piled up in them, unusable.

Very convenient location. Within walking distance to shops, restaurants and lakefront access. Very easy check in and check out process and comfortable bed and great kitchen facilities.

For the purposes of my stay this was extremely convenient and comfortable. It's not a luxury room or property (it is a motel) but for the price I found it excellent value.

Value, ease of check-in

Expected dishes, sink and kettle that aren't provided in room rented.Electronic check-in is great however wrong code was issued. Fortunately someone was available to correct this.

Location, price the location was great, walking distance to everything.

It was very dated.. They could definitely benefit from a better maintenance program, patching and paint, light fixture repairs would go along way.. we booked twice through Expedia and Booking .com . We had to cancel due to a family emergency and paid the penalty, the emergency was resolved and we contacted the office about rebooking. We were told the manager would call back but the return call was from the same clerk as our initial call saying they couldn’t do anything because it had been booked through Expedia. I understood that but had hoped that perhaps the manager could at least work with us to rebook and perhaps could give us a preferred rate but the managers message seemed abrupt to say the least. We rebooked through Booking.com at the cheapest rate and definitely got what we paid for. . I know if you’re reading this you might think I was cranky and difficult but I remained calm and pleasant in all our conversations. On a side note the other party in our group got upgraded to a larger suite due to availability ( they had not been able to cancel their reservation because they had booked directly through the local office which is only open between 10:00am and. 5:00 pm and luckily the emergency had resolved itself)

Dry friendly staff location was excellent, comfortable bed.

It’s very dated & needs a major overhaul.

Location, cleanliness

The fridge was noisy and interrupted my sleep. The front door opens from the inside every time I turn the handle. There is no way for me to know if the door is securely locked.

Location was great

Checkin was too short, Checkin should be 7am to 8pm not 10am to 5pm..Its bad if you dont have a phone

Great location right on the beach. Room was small but clean, beds are comfortable. Great parking and BBQ facilities. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.

This is an older motel, doors tend to stick, air conditioner is loud but it is all part of the charm.

Location and ease of booking - having a full kitchen was great!
