Green View Motel and RV Park

The staff was excellent, the room was older but everything was clean and in working order.

Excellent value. Quiet and comfy. We booked a two double-bed room. They upgraded us to a two-queen room for no extra cost. Handy: Bed lamp had AC power port. Easily accessible mounted power strip near TV had extra ports for charging electronics.

A bit awkward check-in. We rang the Ring doorbell, woman said "Hello-Hello," then nothing. Minutes later, a man (owner?) drove up and let us in. He was gracious and friendly. All good then. Rooms are old and a bit dark, but clean so not bothersome.

Bal, the host, was very helpful. Check-in was easy and she recommended restaurant options in town. Very rare to have king beds in motels. Enjoyed having a fridge and microwave.

This is a motel and we were looking for a nice place to spend a night on our cross-Canada road trip. The Green View seemed like it would be perfect for us and it was. Our room was spacious, well equipped and sparkling clean and came at a good price. The proprietor had a small binder with local food places (especially great since it was a Sunday). Considering the highway location we weren’t bothered with noise either.A good night’s sleep!

Although the room is dated, it was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and it was perfect for our 1 night stay.

We would have preferred blackout blinds as my wife likes a darker room to room for sleeping.

This is an older property reminiscent of our earlier days of road trips with our kids, with a spacious room that was very clean, good chairs, writing table and other seating — and with all the amenities you’d expect (good coffee maker, frig etc). Several aspects have been updated such as the bathroom, cool window blinds and flooring. Bed was cosy and comfortable. Very friendly owners. Across the road from a nice kids playground! Close to two bakery cafes and grocery store in Greenwood. And great value! It’s a real gem! If we come this way again, we will surely stay here! Thank you!

This was a great little motel in the edge of town

The listing indicates there is an RV park. I think that is a stretch as it is more for long term RV living, rather than temporary. A person could rent a slot for a weekend or a week I imagine, but I don’t think that is what it is intended for.

It’s close to the road which can be a problem for traffic noise if that bothers you. Also the AC is quite noisy so that also might be something to take into consideration if you are sensitive to loud noises when sleeping. Also the check out time is 10 instead of 11 which is also something to take into consideration if you like to leave a little later.

Liked the location. Nice little town. Nearby coffee breakfast "Copper Eagle" place, walking distance.Had a nice talk at the Japanese internment camp memorial with the Japanese elderly man who is caring for it as a volunteer.

The location was great for me to have a break midway from my long travel day to rest and recharge. The front desk staff greeted me warmly and showed me to my room and I thought that was a nice touch!

Overall the cleanliness of the room was great but upon turning down the coverlet in the bed there was a small brown stain - maybe coffee?!?! Anyways I was alone so I just mover to the other side of the bed ?

The staff were friendly and helpful. Since I arrived at midnight, they swiftly arranged the check-in process, and their response was quick. The room was well-cleaned and stocked with all the necessary toiletries.
