    Pros +

    • I loved the friendly atmosphere as soon as you arrive to this hotel. All of the staff were very kind. The location was steps away from an old Montreal street with lots to see. The free breakfast was lovely to start the day with croissants juice and snacks

    • The location was great and the staff was very friendly

    Cons -

    • I’d quite like a bath on a cold night and the rooms all have showers x
    • We thought a breakfast included a buffet-like spread but it arrives in a basket each morning. Definitely a boutique experience
    • Sparcity of room uncomfortable, bathroom poor.

Wonderful small hotel in the Old City in Montreal. Great location — near good restaurants, shops, museums , but quiet. Easy to get around city on metro from hotel location. Fun 60’s Montreal theme. Comfortable beds, simple but very nicely outfitted bathrooms. Nice common room on RDC. Really friendly and helpful staff. Very welcoming vibe. Also, Montreal is just a great city to visit — cosmopolitan , interesting history, bilingual, vibrant and thriving. (The 3-day metro/bus passes are a great deal to get around the city and both metro and busses are pleasant and easy to use. Highly recommended )

    Location, staff excellent.

Sparcity of room uncomfortable, bathroom poor.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming — and I mean across the board, every team member, every encounter. The rooms have a unique decor theme that is clean and modern but homey and comfortable. Not cookie cutter. I liked staying in Old Montreal. And the breakfast was wonderful. The chef even prepared special vegan breakfasts each day. Overall I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The bathroom was narrow and cramped. I hit my forearm very hard on the door handle, just trying to scoot around the toilet to get to the shower, with only a few inches between the toilet and the wall. It left a bruise + scrape mark that’s still there 3-4 weeks later. That was the only downside of an otherwise wonderful stay — but a big one: getting hurt because of tiny spaces that could be designed differently.

The breakfast was absolutely horrible. A box with a croissant and an oj hung on outside of door. For 500 dollars a night for that very disappointed. The staff were very nice and helpful. Restaurant food was also unacceptable. Only good thing was location but still not worth the price.

Location. Theme and decor. Friendly staff. Neat continental breakfast concept.

    8LindaPosted on: 8-9-2025

Excellent location. We liked the 60’s theme very much. The staff was courteous and went out of their way to be helpful. The shower was great. However, we would have preferred the sink to be part of a self-contained bathroom. The breakfast was adequate but could be improved with a stronger coffee offering.

    See above.

This hotel is wonderfully located for exploring the old town and port area of Montreal. It is the closest hotel to the port if you are catching a cruise. It's a very short walk - no need for a taxi unless you have more luggage than you can push/carry/roll yourself. The staff work super hard yet are very friendly and accommodating. The cafe and bar are perfect for a little bite or drink.

There are steps ( 7 or so) to the reception area that are awkward with luggage. If you are disabled, the staff will let you use the employee entrance which has an elevator.

    Location and hotel theme

My requests weren’t met, like feather pillow and far from elevator noise

Eclectic hotel in the heart of old town. Nice decor with a theme of the 1960s and 1970s. Loved the record player in the room. Very spacious room. Clean. Good lighting. Ample outlets. Big and sunny windows with view of the park. Interesting approach to breakfast but it worked. Very friendly staff with good advice.

Great location in old town and next to the port. Themed rooms were fun and a good size. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was poor for the price. A croissant, a fruit bar and an orange juice.

    9IanPosted on: 6-22-2025

Location, helpful staff, comfortable bed, large room

The breakfast, very limited, no fruit, stale croissants

    8StaceyPosted on: 5-4-2025

I loved the breakfast basket we received each morning! Everything was fresh and delicious. The location is absolutely perfect. The staff is very friendly.

I wish the lobby area was slightly larger, we had a large group and often took up a lot of space around the bar. I also wish that the room had more counter space around the sink for cosmetics.

Loved this hotel! Excellent location, friendly staff, 24-hour front desk, beautiful facilities, room was super clean and beds were extremely comfortable. My family and I really enjoyed our stay, would definitely recommend and stay there again in a future trip to Montreal.
