Auberge De La Fontaine

It was clean and stylish, nice sheets and towels, free coffee and a rooftop terrace

Clean, well appointed, location (love staying in a village area), charming, wonderful staff.

Third floor suite using stairs was fine for two of my party but I had an injured knee which made the stairs difficult.

No elevator, too many steep stairs.

I had to stay an extra night in Montreal so I picked this little hotel randomly and I¿m glad I did. It was super clean, cute, and in a great location.

The beds were a bit uncomfortable and there was no elevator. (However, I was offered help with luggage up the stairs)

Convenience, friendliness of staff, location, value for money.

Breakfast buffet was only average.

parking can be a challenge... day staff very helpful but late evening attendant offered little help other than to suggest paying for overnight parking in the park

Small, friendly and homey. The view from my room was incredible as well as the room itself. The front desk staff was amazing and the breakfast was delicious. You wake up to the smell of homemade muffins. Central to all the tourist attractions.

It didn't bother me at all, I actually like it but there is no elevators, if you're on the third floor expect to climb some stairs.

Location in the Plateau neighborhood of Montreal is walking distance to lots of great cafes, patisseries, Mont Royal park....loved the location!

Nice room with view of Parc le Fontaine, but busy, noisy street between hotel and park. Next time I would request a room at the back of the hotel.

Nice older building, next to a nice park, nice neighborhood.

Wonderful location near the park and restaurants in all directions; so much to do and see. Friendly staff, quiet rooms, and comfortable beds all made for a lovely stay.

Liked most everything - minor but the bathroom door in our room wouldn’t open all the way (hits the floor).

Beautiful building, lovely holiday decorations. Visited with the grandchildren- staff was so kind to them, making the stay so pleasant.

Room was warm and cozy, and quiet. Great location in Le Plateau neighbourhood - all that we wanted to do was so walkable, so we left our car parked the whole time. Friendly accommodating staff and cozy reception lounge. We'd stay again, for sure.

The staff was amazing, the hotel is in a historical building, but inside it was shiny and newly renovated, a rare combination. It's two avenue blocks from the street filled with nice restaurants.

Coming from America we expected sausages to be included with breakfast, but totally understand that it's not common in Canada
