I loved the location! It’s right next to the metro, there are various restaurants within walking distance, and there’s even a convenience store just across the street!

As of February 2026 there is still lots of construction in the area which isn’t ideal for walking or driving.

Great staff they were very friendly, the place looked nice and the bed was very comfortable, a good bathroom with lots of space, it's a great hotel to book for a shorter stay

The pancake machine at breakfast always got stuck or broke and the beds could've had a bit more pillows

I had a great stay at Tru by Hilton. The hotel and its facilities are brand new, modern, and very well maintained. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of fresh and tasty options. The highlight, however, was the staff — everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive. Their kindness truly made the experience even better. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Everything was fine. Very clean room, had plenty of stuff in the bathroom. Receptionist Amanda was very friendly and helpful.

Not very good soundproofing in the room

They were very kind, they gave us a late check out and and the location is so good too! They don’t have parking.

Very nice place. The room was great, very clean and comfortable. breakfast was excellent.

The down side is there is no parking in the building and it is a bit difficult to have a nice spot close to the hotel

Room was comfortable, modern, and very clean. The staff was very welcoming and had excellent food/activity recommendations. Location was very close to a main transportation hub and all parts of downtown Montreal were easily accessible via the metro or buses.

I like that the hotel was in close vicinity to the gay village. The staff were also extremely friendly.

My friends and I could barely sleep because of the noise outside of the hotel. Any noise, especially the plows and trucks, was loud to the point that it would keep waking me up through the entire night. I understand that the hotel is located in a big city, but I would've also expected that the hotel would be built with strong sound proofing windows to counter the City noise. When I visited Paris years ago, I was shocked how much the windows deadened the outside noise. I can't imagine that I'm the first customer ever complaining about this, so at the very least, I would have expected the Tru Hilton to disclose the issue with noise and perhaps provide ear plugs as a courtesy.

Breakfast was pretty good. Not exceptional, but adequate. Location was great especially for the metro, Latin quarter, and China town.

The Staff is the kindest and easiest to talk to I ever experienced in a Hotel. I’ve asked for a kettle and 1min after it was available. Good location near Saint Catherine commercial street.

Breakfast choices could propose more variety in food.

The Front Desk Rep, Roland, made a huge difference in our stay. He took the time to give us recommendations for first-time visitors, taught us how to move around, and showed genuine care for us. I can thank him enough for being so awesome.

Breakfast time ends at 9:00 AM, so you need to wake up early if you want to take advantage of it.

Amazing service! Text each day to make sure our stay was good and let us know they were there. Beds super comfy, and rooms were a good size. Pillows were comfy, and the TV was huge. Not that we watched a ton. But it was overall 9/10 and would stay again! The lounge area was great!!! Tea and coffee 24hrs was helpful. Really excellent stay.

The only complaint, the water in the shower could have been a bit hotter, and an extra bath towel would have been nice.
