room service NOT on site - but rather setting up "uber orders" in the room. rooms with lots of wasted space, and poor layout. reception on upper floor - difficult to get luggage inside. singel elevator - very slow. overall design layout very odd.

Parking is $35 + tax per night which is quite steep. But I guess that's the price you pay to be in a prime location in MTL.

Excellent stay. We booked the corner suite, which was very spacious, bright, and comfortable with lots of natural light. A crib was provided as requested for our toddler, and the check-in process was smooth. The staff were kind and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was also great, with generous portions that we really enjoyed. The location was also excellent, within walking distance to many restaurants and cafés while being slightly quieter than the busier areas.

The suite faces the street, so there can be occasional noise, such as a garbage truck passing by, although it did not wake our toddler. There is also a short set of stairs to reach reception, but the staff were very helpful with bringing our luggage up, which we appreciated.

We loved this hotel for a long weekend stay over Valentine's Day. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with recommendations. The hotel is located in old town but on a quiet street so you weren't bombarded with tourists.

I booked this hotel for the last two nights of my trip as a treat! It’s not cheap but from the moment I stepped foot in the lobby I knew it was going to be a wonderful experience! And Hotel Gault did not disappoint! My room was huge, clean with lovely little touches like the valentines chocolates and welcome note I received on arrival. It was super clean and modern, but classic at the same time, the bed was incredibly cosy and comfortable and I appreciated my complimentary hot drink on arrival which was delivered to my room and the coffee machine and kettle! Such a treat. The staff were super friendly and helpful, I didn’t want to leaven I will definitely go back.

Nothing! The only thing I could say is that the gym is tiny - jus one running machine and one cross trainer and some weights. But there are no mats, no towels and no water facilities. For such a luxurious hotel I was disappointed…

Modern designed interiors with some original elements, expansive and well designed room, very comfortable bed, excellent breakfasts, very friendly staff.Not located in busier areas of Old Montreal yet only a short walk away. Quiet at night.Conveniently close to Square Victoria and Metro. We walked easily from the Gare Central to the hotel with our small luggage.

Only negative was the small gym with very basic equipment only

Comfortable. Excellent location. Clean. Simple. New. Well-equipped. All in all sweet.

The restaurant doesn't have soy milk! If you drink your coffee with soy milk, then you are - like me - going to be annoyed every morning.

While the restaurant staff were very good, I unfortunately did not enjoy my stay here.

There are many misleading details to watch out for, especially regarding breakfast; you have to read the fine print carefully, or you will be charged extra fees. Obtaining a correct invoice was also a terrible and unnecessarily difficult process. Furthermore, the hotel requires a deposit, which made me feel untrusted and is not a practice I expect. Overall, these frustrations overshadowed the positive aspects of the stay.

Room was ready before the check in time an as I arrived earlier I could benefit from it. Love the nespresso and flow water in the room. Love the smell of the products in the bathroom.

The restaurant was closed for a private function unfortunately and the room service options are not enough to accommodate every palate ..

Wow! A wonderful stay at Hotel Gault. Exceptional customer care! Fabulous location. Delicious, varied and generous breakfast. Artistic interiors and common spaces. Truly an inspiring and inviting place to stay. We’ll be back! Thank you to everyone there who made our time in Old Montreal memorable!

The breakfast was excellent and the location for tours and exploring was really good

The gym was sub standard for how good the rest of the hotel was. A sauna would have been the icing on the cake.

Staff was excellent..thank you Ella for your funny but professional attitude. The hotel building has a lot of character and the rooms are quiet.

The treadmill in the gym was broken for the full stay. Had a chance to go to use the sister hotels gym which was in walking distance.

The location was perfect for a stay in Old Montreal. Easy access to the port, shopping, and great restaurants but also on a quiet street. The hotel is charming and the staff super friendly.

Breakfast was fine but it could be improved. The eggs were overcooked and lacking in flavor. The bread was bland too. Also, please serve room temp butter for us butter lovers.

Breakfast very nice, large room, very comfortable, huge bathroom.

No proper bar so not great facilities for just hanging out in the hotel beyond the room; very noisy and very early bin collections on Saturdays

Close to Old Montreal, excellent super friendly Staff,Room was spacious,modern and really clean.I will be booking here again when I come back to Montreal! You guys were absolutely amazing!
