Hotel Bonaparte

The room was comfortable, especially the bed. The restaurant was exceptional. The staff was delightful and the food was as good as the best I have had in France.

Some of the fixtures in the shower needed some simple maintenance.

what a great find! Great location, perfect blend of quaint and historic hotel combined with modern conveniences. Great breakfast included and all the staff were absolutely wonderful. Provided great recommendations, directions, anything. Highly recommend!

Great location, super friendly staff, very clean room.

Breakfast wasn't what I expected but not bad. Bagels, crepes, and such delivered to your door along with juice and yogurt.

I assumed these were non smoking rooms and that includes pot. When we came to our room hallway was really bad for someone smoking pot room across from us. Not a nice smell when we are expecting first class hotel does cheapen experience.

This was a beautiful hotel. The staff was extremely courteous and the room was gorgeous. Wood floors, gothic velvet etched accent wall and a black and white subway tiled bathroom. The location was great & right in the heart of Old Montréal.

This hotel was lovely. It is located conveniently in Old Montreal, easy to walk to many Old Montreal locations, but also a short walk to the main bus line which will take you throughout Montreal. The staff was excellent. The food was delicious.

An outstanding auberge! Breakfast was amazing. All the staff was friendly and helpful, too. Auberge located in the old section of Montreal, gave us easy access to all the sights.

The staff were amazing. Hotel Employee on the desk and the servers in the restaurant. all made me feel completely welcome. The free breakfast was fantastic. Our room was beautiful. The location was excellent.

The staff are very friendly and the reception staff warm and welcoming.The rooms are on the small side, but clean and quiet, especially if you ask for a room away from the road.Coffee maker in the room and a continental breakfast delivered daily to your door. Hotel in a great location in Old Montreal, although mobility issues might make walking difficult for some people.

The breakfast was adequate, but there is no choice about what you get.

We always love staying at the Bonaparte. The room is comfortable and the restaurant is great.

Breakfast delivery to the room. When we first came to the hotel there use to be a morning breakfast versus a scone.

The staff was exceptionally helpful on many occasions and the hotel fulfilled all expectations for cleanliness and beauty in a walk to everything location. Could not have been more pleased.

I work in Hospitality, so I know first hand the difference between genuine acts of service and a canned routine. Valerie and Micheal were so warm and welcoming upon arrival. Our bartender and servers were knowledgeable and intuitive. We called for a late night delivery of wine and the gentleman was such a gem delivering it to us. I asked for a special picture printed upon arrival for our room and they delivered, which gave us both a good laugh. When checking out, they asked if we would like them to hold onto our bags while we continued to explore the city until later in the day. I will both recommend AND return for another visit. Thank you so much for a special weekend getaway.

The Hotel is not what it was Pre---Covid, the room and night restaurant/bar are very acceptable and appreciated. However....see below what we didn't like and is a deal breaker.

The Hotel is not what it was Pre---Covid, where the absence of a restaurant breakfast removes the charm and comfort that the Hotel previously was so well known for and appreciated. The box breakfast is not even a meager replacement for the restaurant. In fact eating from a box in ones room is rather depressing. The model is a fail and considering the cost of the room its time to take a pass in the future. The suggestion that there are local restaurants that make breakfast just an excuse. You have to walk considerable distance for a proper breakfast. NO apologies, or sorry you feel that way. It just a fact. Also Bonaparte has a partner hotel that does provide full kitchen service, so we heard the excuses and ignored the sad tails.
