Homewood Suites By Hilton Montreal Downtown

Staff was very helpful. Room was large and very comfortable. Overall, we had a great experience staying at Homewood Suites in Downtown Montreal.

The kitchen area with fridge, microwave, stove, utensils, coffee maker even had dishwasher. Large washroom with walking in shower. Large TV screens. Comfortable bed. Nice breakfast.

No cold water from kitchen and washroom sinks just lukewarm. Not enough water pressure from shower.

Handles missing off of the doors entering hotel. Carpeting very old and worn out. Outside is dirty, not very welcoming when first coming up to hotel. The floor in our room was dirty, shower small and very slippery, bathroom very small, cracks in ceiling.

Nothing was up to standards

Pets, cleaning wasn?t done in the room, front desk did nothing about our complaints

The room, the pool, and the egg chair on the balcony are the best

I called for toilet paper and housekeeping never came. Had to buy some myself

We loved this hotel. Its clean and our room had a washer and dryer in it. The breakfast buffet was great. The staff was nice. It was in walking distance to old Montreal.

Do not having to use a room key to get up to the room. I understand its a safety issue given it's location.

The room was amazing with a full kitchen and washer/dryer combo. It was wonderful not having to return home with chores to do (laundry).

Staff was outstanding. Room exceeded expectations. received an upgrade at front counter when checking in (nice surprise). Safe parking with security guard. Everything was great. Close enough to walk to restaurants (10-15 minutes) at Ste Catherine Thanks

Nothing really

Location was convenient, room was nice and big. Included breakfast was lovely and had numerous choices. Staff was informative, warm and welcoming.

People would smoke just outside door. Lots of construction in the area.

The room was lovely. Had all amenities required.

Lots of road noise made sleeping difficult. I should have anticipated this and brought earplugs.

The location is great. Easy walk to Old Port, Subway stop, two pedestrian walking streets and more ! The front desk staff was kind and very accommodating!

The King Suite was tiny. There was nearly enough room for 2 people and we were absolutely cramped with 3. Too much furniture for too little space! Housekeeping was non existent during the day- but night staff brought us fresh towels/emptied trash

It’s a perfect location. The breakfast was all I expected. And the room exceeded my expectations about the comfort. I passed a very good weekend.

The breakfast a little noisy but it’s normal. And it could have more space for (rangement)

Terrible experience

I booked a junior suite for a week and when I arrived in the room, it was very stuffy. I was tired after my flight so I just sat on the couch while on the phone with my family. All of a sudden, I broke out in hives going from my neck to my chest and stomach. I noticed that the heat which was right next to the couch was super dusty. There was also dust behind the couch and under the table by the TV.I went down to the front desk, explained the situation and ask if they could change my room, have it vacuumed or suggest a solution because I booked for a week and the situation was inconvenient. They said that they would send someone to check my room and based on their judgment they will see what can be done.A lady indeed came up asking where the bugs were? I explained the situation and she immediately corrected me saying that all the rooms are perfectly clean and that the dust around the heat wasn’t dust. However, she failed to explain what it was and she proceeded to remove it with a cloth. Then, her phone rang and she was telling another woman where she was. The other lady arrived, knocked on the door and within 20 seconds she used her key and entered the room without even waiting for one of us to open the door. They were speaking Arabic and then she suggested that I ask for another room. Meanwhile, the first lady had turned the AC on for better air circulation according to her. They left and I followed them about 5 minutes after.Once at the front desk, the manager was discussing the situation with the employees in a private room. Then, she (the manager) came and told me that according to the agents sent upstairs, my room is perfectly clean and there’s nothing wrong with it. She proceeded to say that in this hotel all of the rooms are in mint condition and that they will not change my room because it’s not going to make a difference, and they’re overbooked anyway. So I got sent back to my room with no attempts to accommodate or find a solution and no empathy.

Noisy from a dance club on the 6th floor. Homeless people sleeping on the street in front of the hotel. So bad we weren’t comfortable leaving the hotel. The morning breakfast was terrible. Most people including ourselves were throwing the mass amounts of food on garbage. We paid $$$ to stay at this location but were unable to enjoy our stay for all of the above reasons.

Security in front of hotel, better food, noise level. Clean up the area to make it more safe and inviting.

Breakfast was good. Instead of pork, I would prefer fish , chicken, duck , turkey.Location of hotel is excellent.

Slippers should be provided in rooms.
