Sandals Royal Bahamian All Inclusive Adults Only

The staff were phenomenal and beyond friendly and accommodating. At 50% capacity the resort was not crowded at all. Restaurants on site were delicious.

The hotel had a somewhat moldy smell in the hallways and unfortunately we dealt with a flooded room on our last day due to water leaking in from the floor above us.

Hotel property and beaches were beautiful. Premium liquor options and great bartenders. Great idea to have photographers around the resort to take couples photos.

Food quality was average with below average service. Frequently ran out of items at the bar, restaurant menu items, difficult to get bottled water replenished in room, espresso machine out of order, etc. Some unfriendly/ unhelpful staff members...

Loved that it was couples only and its location was perfect. We loved the piano bar sing-a-longs and the staff.

The internet was terrible. We also didn't love that we had to make reservations for dinner, snorkeling, etc. It felt stressful having to "think" that much when all we wanted to do was relax and just "show up." The food was mediocre.

Overall our experience was good. Only very minor thing was due to when we visited the hours of opening for the restaurants changed and had not been updated on the in room television so we'have arrive based upon the listed times and they were not open

The hotel staff took the experience from great to exceptional. They seem to live life and that rubs off on everyone they encounter!

The food was great! We were upgraded to a larger room. That was really nice!

Our arrival got off to a rough start. We were traveling from a colder climate so in addition to our carry on luggage, we had large coats and sweaters. Our rooms weren't ready (we arrived around noon and the rooms would not be ready until 3:00pm), so we went to lunch. The staff told us we had to CARRY everything around other than our checked luggage! Also, the decor was dated....the bedroom still had a carpeted floor which had a couple of stains. The staff cleaned daily but the mops weren't changed which led to constant hair on the bathroom floor (gross). Lastly, we had an issue with knats in the room. Maintenance addressed the issue as soon as we reported it.

We loved the vibes of the resort for our honeymoon. The food was awesome and lots a variety.

The beds seemed too soft and the pillows had no support. The sheets felt cheap. We were on our honeymoon and mentioned it on our reservation and on the celebration card when we arrived (along with my husbands birthday) we did not receive anything from the honeymoon package (rose petals, champagne in the room).

What I liked the most was that they have options for everybody talking about places, pools … more laugh or more quite depending on what are you looking for and a lot of different options for food.

The breakfast buffet was good and the resort location was delightful.

The food served at lunch and dinner was, at best, mediocre. It was definitely not fine dining. The bookable restaurants were nearly fully booked before we arrived and difficult to get into. The food when we did get in was disappointing, especially the French restaurant. We could not get a table in the Japanese restaurant on any of our 5 nights. The non-bookable restaurants often had long waits for tables and Gordon’s on the water was freezing cold as the wind screens were mostly broken and could not be used.Housekeeping did not refill tea and coffee making supplies in the room and when more were requested it took several requests over 5 hours and a complaint to the duty manager to get any tea bags.The entertainment was poor quality throughout, more suited to a 1950s holiday camp.

The island opposite was beautiful and chilled not crowded. Deshon in the Butch steakhouse was brilliant an excellent waiter and very attentive and prompt

every sunbed on the beach and both pools was saved by 7am so not enough places to sunbathe,the italian restaurant gave very poor service and were very unhelpful when we complained that 3 of us had been given our food and had eaten it and 1 was waiting for over 45mins and it still didnt arrive and they didnt even apologise so we left with one of our party not eating.

We Were Expecting much more for the price they charge

There was a strong odor in the water on the beach in front of the hotel next to the pier, as if they were dumping sewage there. We paid for 7 nights but only stayed 6 nights, since due to a flight connection problem we arrived a day late. Despite this, we had to wait 3 hours to get into our room, when it should have been available to us, since we had already paid for it.Finally, the service provided by the waiters at the hotel was always very poor. This part was really disappointing.

Private island, facilities

Cocktails too sweet, evening entertainment could have been a lot better. Had no idea about morning yoga and tennis lessons etc which would have made a major difference to our stay. Only found out by stumbling to the tennis courts, we got no tour around the hotel for us to see everything that was available to us

Staff was wonderful. Plenty of seats at the pool and beach. No waiting for meals.

Great atmosphere - great resort and good restaurant. I loved the daily boat for the private island where snorkeling is also included.

if you have dairy intolerance or allergies the hotel staff is not really trained to understand contamination might kill you. BE CAREFUL as I have had a couple of accident. finally after 6 nights a professional chef managed to cook a diary free muffin for breakfast - I literally had no dessert in 6 days and I am not expecting this service from a 5 stars resort.It needs to improve on the night activity as it is very boring after 10pm.

Utterly disgusting hotel. Just take a look at the pictures I have attached.We booked this holiday for our honeymoon. We booked Sandals on the basis that it is marketed as a luxury hotel chain. This was not the case.The two rooms we were initially placed in for the first two evenings were frankly disgusting. Dirty, smelly, tatty and dated. We wasted half of the holiday is awful rooms. On the second evening dealing with Club Sandals concierge staff, who refused to allow me to make a complaint directly, would not pass me an email address, I made additional effort to communicate with your resort management.The staff just do not care and have no substance to the "here to serve your needs". I have attempted on three occasions to contact the hotel before posting this review, with zero response.I would stay very clear of this hotel.

nice resort, pleasant experience, just expensive for what it is.

wouldn't stay again. some staff were super but some couldn't be bothered. went to a wedding there that was very disorganized. didn't like that certain restaurants required reservations but the booking system didn't work so we couldnt eat there. for what we paid, just wouldn't do it again.

All inclusive, you don’t have to think of anything except to relaxe

The butler we had had set us up with a fake yacht company with false prices, when on the yacht we were threathened to pay some money in cash. Keep in mind that before exorting my partner and I, they had already went in our belongings and stole thousands of dollars. We were travelling few hours later and we reported it to the hotel which I am sure did nothing to the butler in question.

The food and service was excellent. It was nice to be at an all inclusive where there were a lot of offerings such as restaurants and bars but it wasn't super spread out. The private island was wonderful and peaceful so I highly recommend.

The rooms are a little outdated and the bed wasn't very comfortable. They should take the time to update the mobile app when things change.
