pillows were okay. location was ideal

When we got there to check-in the manager extorted us for cash to get 2 beds instead of 1. we had a reservation for 4 people. he said we only had 1 bed in the room and if we wanted a room with 2 beds we would have to pay additional cash. we had no choice.

Loud at night. When we arrive during in the toilet and dirty and stuff on top of first bed.

It is a simple motel. Rooms are very spacious and with a half kitchen.

It is right beside Highway 2 so traffic noise cannot be avoided.

Some of the rooms were above a bar that is noisy with Karaoke until 2 am. The other 2 rooms had a chemical smell so bad we got a headache in a few minutes. The owner said to open the window because it was new paint, but that is not what new paint smells like. There are permanent dwellers smoking right by the entrance to the room. We couldn’t stay there and lost our $170 as it was non refundable and I haven’t heard back from booking.com. There was a motorhome parked permanently next to the hotel and a car with a broken window covered in plastic. The owners lied to us and said there was no karaoke but the bar said there was. At the front door there was a poster about a wanted man who murdered his 3 daughters.

Got an upgrade. Spa bath, lovely, but overlooked directly onto the Interstate 2

The door had a big gap around it where light came through. No hot water in sink Bathroom door had damage Floors were uneven.

The kitchenette and beds were fine.

My husband said it smelled like his grandma. . . But I thought it smelled slightly like a smokers room. Coincidentally his grandma smokes...The outside of the motel was kinda run down looking but the main drawback was the price. For one night in a somewhat shabby looking place( on the outside- inside was fine except for mild smell) it was far more expensive than reasonable.

Room I booked not what they showed me, the owner said “no king rooms”They ran my credit card, said it was denied, ran 2 other cards said they were rejected. Incompetent! I can assure you the cards I used are good!The room was filthy, not what I asked for! I told him I am canceling my reservation and left. 2 hours later they charged my card 480.00. I have called them several times, they will not respond, I have emailed them. I undercharge me 1 night but not for entire stay!I have contacted you Booking and you tell me to call them. I am more than frustrated that you are not helping as it was booked thru you. This is fraudulent on all parts and I would like a response from you! I was there for my dad’s celebration of life and this whole experience has made it that much harder! Please get back to me, please try your best talk to the managers as they ignore me.

Fine location, fine facilities, if a little bit third-worldly.The air conditioner couldn’t really keep up with the heatdome that had settled over the northwest, but that made the thin, otherwise lacking sheets and covers much better.This place would be half the price other places, but it’s not other places, it’s in the mountains above the Seattle metro, so it costs what it costs.

It’s not that I didn’t like it, but the recessed brick floor in the bathroom is the kind of thing I find staying in hostels in Latin America, and it’s impossible to get clean. The room was sparse and painted white—function over form.

Clean quiet motel. It’s two stars, so don’t expect the Marriott but it’s a great two star motel and the owners are lovely.

Location bad, reception area , outdoor, rooms all old, broken and just plain BAD! Too noisy with traffic, other rooms, and train running down tracks day and night. booking.com should not be affiliated with this company

Basic room by close to busy road with thin walks but fine

Very clean, spacious and well appointed.

The air conditioner was a little slow to get started but worked great after awhile.

We took our annual motorcycle ride and planned to do some sightseeing in Gold Bar. Due to an accident, the scenic highway was closed for four hours. The room was just what we needed - clean, warm, comfortable.
