Homewood Suites by Hilton Richmond-Downtown

Clean spacious room.

Customer service was awful. Employees almost never at their station, hars to track down, and left the food and beverage stations empty for hours without refilling anything or responsibilities to guest requests.

The suite space and it's amenities.

Yes. Other guests were smoking pot in the rooms, despite the sign stating it was a NO smoking floor. As a severe asthmatic patient this was not good. They were short of staff!

Water pressure, no hot water, no free parking as the agreement stated

Easy in and out parking

NO hot water for showers! Had to move rooms because of water issue and then the heat was broke in the new room. Staff did com fix heating issue but I had more cold showers there than I have had in my entire 46 year life.

How close it was to event

Omg the smell in room was horrible and the elevators were horrible I thought I was in panic room trying to figure it out.

The suite was roomy and comfortable. Love the view from the rooftop restaurant although it is not affiliated with hotel.

The staff

The hotel room wasn't good. Couch was stained, curtains dirty tables are scratched, etc

The location was great as we were in walking distance (.9 mi) of the Altria Theater; free parking, free breakfast. All these things add up for the overall cost and you had just what we needed. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

The elevators were confusing. Pls mention during check-in that they serve 2 hotels and to pay attention to the buttons and floors. The thermostat wasn¿t adjustable, nor was the fan speed.

Spacious room

The common areas were messy. I feel like the staff got lazy once Covid hit and never cleaned common areas - like where they used to serve breakfast and the hallways leading to the workout room.

Great location. The free van was great for getting to the museums.

Housekeeping was disappointing. Didn't take out the trash, didn't replace kleenex, didn't replace bulb (even with a note)

the club on the rooftop, the staff are rude. finding parking after 7pm is ridiculous.

The staff was professional and the rooms were remodeled and clean! The morning breakfast staff greeted everyone with a smile .

This entire hotel has been redone, everything is brand-new. The Decour is fresh and contemporary. And the staff was wonderful!

Because this is a new renovation, it was a bit confusing to find. They only have temporary signage, which is a bit difficult to see while you're driving the car. Other than that, everything was perfect!

Clean and attractive environment. Nice, big room.

Elevators were not working properly. Wait staff did not replenish breakfast items.

The room was excellent! The breakfast was great!! The service was excellent!!

The elevator system is screwed!!! Please get a normal elevator where you push buttons from within the elevator!!! Once the thing gets overloaded with people, the system forgets your floor number. This is the only reason why I did not give a 10 rating.
