Location, staff, was easy to go in and out

We were only given two small towels in our room no wash cloths hand towels napkins or even Kleenex that was kind of disappointing. The room was a little rough but for the price it was fine

The fishing pier was nice and had lights for night fishing.

The staff could be a little more friendly. Breakfast was not bad but not great. Towels had stains. Told staff and was told they do the best they can. Have to ask for daily room service.

I like that it has their own pier access and is very close to the public beach, HEB Walmart everything is just s few minutes away!

Price, we paid above $--- gor just one night, other guest's we met paid $--- and that's not nice at all

The fishing pier. The front desk personal in the afternoon and overnight were very friendly. The morning staff were very unprofessional. When we went in for breakfast we weren't even acknowledged.

The mattress were extremely hard . Woke up with back pain.

When I arrived for a mother/daughter weekend away I thought I had booked a double bed room but apparently I only booked a 1 bed room. Hotel employee was amazing at the front desk and got me a room with 2 beds and let us check in an hour early due.

Room was large, AC worked well, beds were comfortable and the room was clean. I would recommend if you were just sleeping there and wanted a cheap place to stay. Breakfast area is pleasant.

Could use some repairs. The outside is kind of grungy. We didn't use the pool because people were drinking and they looked like meth heads

Hotel was run down the room furniture was in poor condition. Couldn't get extra towels the hot breakfast food was not cooked very well

Location. It is right on the water. We enjoyed our walk on pier and watching the sunset.

Beds were not very comfortable.

Location and had it?s own private pier for hotel guest only. Breakfast. Shower water was great and clean.

Mix matched toilet seat and somewhat of a sewer smell. Not strong but faint. Mirror looked old as far as glass part. The platform the mattress was on?we kept kicking by accident.

Roaches and lack of attention to cleaning the floors. Under the bed was a catch all of everything that consisted of food crumbs, dirt, hair pins, etc.

Floors wet & slippery - remained wet could cause terrible fall. Staff blamed our HVAC control skills. Bathdoor broken, dirty towels hidden in shower curtain on rod. Around the bottom beds enclosed with tin made horrible noise if barely touched will wake u

Staff was great and helped expedite check in. Older motel but definitely a cut above others in the area! Location is a plus for my outdoor needs (fishing!), away from the tourist traps, and the private pier was a bonus ( black drum caught on crab leg).

Having to go home was the only bad thing.

The location is definitely the selling point, wonderful location by the ocean. You can walk out and in a few steps enjoy a beautiful sunrise. The staff was very helpful and breakfast was delicious and filling. Nice clean large rooms. Very relaxing.

No elevator or anyway of getting upstairs for handicap individuals.
