Conveniently located for fishing.

The towels would have barely been enough to cover a child. Very worn out.

Clean and friendly staff, close to coast and our charter dock.

A little musty, but no different than other hotels with wall mounted air conditioning

What I loved is the location. Only two blocks from boat ramp. The family running the hotel was very polite.

It was pet friendly and they had no problems with the size of the pets you brought.

Parking. At times there wasn’t anywhere to park and we had to park on the street and walk to our room.

This motel in Port O Connor is a modest simple and clean place to stay. Recently updated rooms were comfortable for 4 guys on a fishing trip. Staff very friendly and helpful.Staff even went above and beyond helping by shipping one of our pillows home.

The room was very clean with relatively new carpet. Better than average for this area. It is a fishing town.

The a/c unit was very loud and the curtains do not block light well at night.

The manager offed us packaged honey buns to take on our fishing trip since we left at 6:00am and they didn't serve breakfast until 8:00am.

The room had a slight sag. We had to sleep with our head at the foot of the bed!! Blood rush. Weird also pricy. No hairdryer.

Location is right down the road from the fishing center and parking lot had plenty of room for me to park my four door dually and 30ft boat trailer. Staff was great and helpful. Room seemed recently renovated and looks like they are making their way through all the rooms to renovate them. I even forgot my extension cord to charge my trolling batteries over night and staff didn’t hesitate to let me borrow one. I will stay here every trip down.

Location is excellent. Just one block from the POC Fishing Center boat ramp, where you can launch and get fresh and frozen bait, ice, fuel, beer and gear. One block away, Hurricane Junction offers an interesting contrast of excellent food and local charm. (Bring your own bottle and cards or dominoes; open Thursday through Sunday). Two blocks away, Speedy Stop is fine medium-sized grocery store, definitely a big step up from a convenience store. The fuel is the least-expensive outside Victoria, and they even sell the legendary Waterloo rods. Entire motel facility has been refurbished with a fresh look. Very clean. Quite. Staff very friendly. Coffee is excellent. Breakfast met expectations - this is not a destination resort - but could use a little more variety. Boat electricity and wash station are a huge bonus! This is where to stay if you're fishing and don't need a bunch of expensive frills. POC is not Port A, thank heaven!
