Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Pecos

Room was used. Wet towel hanging in the back of the chair, like wet not damp, like someone had just used it. Shower had used shampoo bottle and soap.

It was convenient to the location that I was visiting for work.

My room was on the side nearest the highway. It was rather loud on that side.

Nice room and great breakfast. Good location. Perfect on the way to Carlsbad Caverns (about an hour and a half away).

My husband said the breakfast was good.

Pool was filthy and cloudy despite being shocked this AM

Gyms do not have any cleaning wipes, equipment were not clean, sweat marks on machines and not cleaned even after bringing up to the front desk. I guess that speaks to Marriot's policy of hygiene practices in the most contact prone area.

Check in was fast and friendly! The room was large, clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were comfortable.

The hotel is very close to the freeway. Being a light sleeper I had a hard time getting to and staying asleep. Make sure to ask for a room away from the freeway. Even number rooms.

I liked pretty much everything about this hotel. The rooms were clean and well laid out. The breakfast layout was great with ALOT of options. From various toppings for a waffle like fresh fruit or chocolate to simple but delicious eggs and bacon.

There are only two flaws is this hotel. One is a gamble the other is a given. The location is a very unfortunate spot. I¿m not talking about the extremely small town of Pecos Tx but the hotel¿s proximity to the highway. I could literally hear 18 wheeler

Front desk staff was pleasant. Hotel was clean. Breakfast area was comfortable; likely a good selection of hot food earlier in the 630-930am serving period.

Room facing freeway was very noisy. AC/Heat had a whine to it that woke us each time it came on. No kleenex in the room. Breakfast available at 845a was diminished (understandable, but still disappointing). We did not alert hotel to issues.

I feel disappointed and ripped off. I book Mariott hotels because the TV has a YouTube app. I like to listen to music after a long drive. But the YouTube app did NOT work! Had I known this in advance, I would have stayed in a cheaper motel!

Continuous noise from highway. A/C noise was sporadic...no one at desk in morning to report to. Parking lot and front door trash cans had not been cleaned in a long time.

Built as a series of townhomes, this is a maze. My room was small and although updated is not much you can do with these spaces. It also felt unsafe although gated entries, in part because of the alley-like feel between all the townhouses

The front desk clerk and staff were very polite and professional. The location was perfect for my business trip. Good variety of breakfast.. Excellent.

Just the elevator was broken. We stayed on 2nd floor so it wasn't that bad. Could get fixed for our next trip.

The hotel is new and very modern

The management is horrible. We checked in on Sunday and checked out on Saturday - 6 nights. During that time our rooms were only cleaned once on Wednesday and that was at 5:45 in the afternoon and we had to leave rooms so they could do it.

Customer service was really bad !!! Staff were really rude including manager!! Breakfast was cold and it was very messy!! Last time I stay there!!

Hotel is like new. Breakfast buffet adequate. TV had no reception at all duringvstay. Bath sink had tiny hairs like someone had shaved and not rinsed and the nightstand had sticky jelly like goo on it that we had to clean off.

It was an inexpensive deal so it's difficult to complain but if you don't get the full benefits even with a discount, it's not worth it.

Brand new, super clean, modern decor, great breakfast. TV in the room had Netflix, hulu, etc. pool and gym were nice.

Location was middle of nowhere, but perfect for driving into Carlsbad to see the caverns the next day.
