    Pros +

    • The animals are a great bonus. The s'more were fun.
    • Great location, friendly staff, comfortable beds, good food, wonderful spa
    • Accommodating, brought items left at home to the room in a timely manner. Breakfast buffet was great.

    Cons -

    • It was all fantastic but sad that the slide was not working
    • The hotel was oversold when I arrived, and the room I booked was not available. Fortunately they were able to upgrade me to a larger room at no additional cost---but I understand that many families were sent to a Hyatt in downtown Austin instead. No!
    • Unexpected $40 "resort fee" at checkout.

Beautiful relaxing resort set in nature's playground. Besides the farm animals they have onsite we also saw deer, butterflies and many species of birds including cardinals.

enjoyed the trails and the outdoor space specially with covid now

I did not like that the room did not have a microwave. Also, I did not like that there was only one restaurant open at that time .

    2Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 12-2-2020

Got my room upgraded. Hotel employee was great, friendly and has exceptional customer service.

Was a resort but no activities. Short staffed. Used Covid as an excuse to not do any housekeeping, not do any activities, hot tub didn’t work, boring time. Food was garbage.

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 11-4-2020

Good food options! Secluded with many options for activities! Updated rooms and the mattress was heavenly!

I can not say enough good things about this resort. First, the staff is EXCELLENT!! I’ve never had better service anywhere. The hotel and grounds were beautiful and there are so many things to do. We are already planning another trip there.

Not one thing. This hotel exceeded my expectations!!

    Pool, activity choices

    All activities were expensive

It was absolutely breathtaking! The staff was super friendly, the food was amazing, so many fun activities! Can not wait to go back!

Great hotel. Fun for family with little kids.

Pool was somewhat dirty. This was our 5th trip to Lost Pines in the last 10 years. We have never seen the pool in this poor of condition before.

Something for everyone, well kept grounds, friendly and helpful staff. Our server, Ty, at Firewheel Café made a special evening for our 8 year old daughter's birthday complete with magic tricks and jokes.

    9Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 8-25-2018

The front desk staff was friendly and was very helpful in arranging a check out time that worked with our golf time.

    6Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 8-23-2018

Kid-friendly, the pool and lazy river were very nice.

The food was just average in taste but very expensive. Wish there were more activities for the kids besides just smores at night. Would have been nice if they offered an activity for kids so that parents could have free time while kids are occupied.

    10WhitneyPosted on: 8-16-2018

The grounds were kept in good condition, it was so pretty to walk around and admire the scenery. The staff was beyond helpful and friendly. I was very pleased with ease of checking in. All the servers were very nice each place we ate.

The bed was pretty uncomfortable and the pillows were really small. Neither my husband nor I slept very well so we were very tired during our stay.

    5Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 8-13-2018

Nice display of Texas history throughout

Hotel looked tired - windows were foggy and frames need paint Restaurant was overpriced for its quality

    9Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 8-4-2018

It was in a quiet location away from traffic.

Food was too expensive and quality was not great.

    5Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 8-1-2018

Lack of maintenance. Seversl bannisters flimsy and not attached. 4 times room key deactivated. Very long walk back to reception. No accomodation made for the inconvenience.

    Unique location. Lots to do

Restaurants leave a lot to be desired. More food options.
