The upside was also the downside: Proximity to freeway for quick early morning departure. Breakfast adequate.

Freeway proximity makes this a very noisy hotel. Bring your white noise machine. Semis roaring past all night long. Large window shade fell off the wall. Maintenance man was very pleasant and efficient, but sleep delayed an hour.

I stayed here on my first night of a cross country road trip and was quite pleased. I really liked your employees that check in guests. I happened to stay there again this week on my last night of the trip coming home. Very happy.

Close to food and the highway

Location

The afternoon clerk was gruff and didn't like his job. The check in process took the longest I've ever had. He mumbled and we couldn't understand him. The thermostat in our room did not hold a temperature and the mini fridge made loud noises all night.

How close it was to our exit. Room very nice and CLEAN

Break fast was OK

Easy access from Interstate 40. The staff was friendly and explained the breakfast times and available services.

The hotel was very clean and new.

Due to COVID, there was no breakfast buffet.

The shower was amazing and the beds were very comfortable.

The most disappointing thing was the terrible sack breakfast, although I realize that with covid the hotel felt it necessary although both the other hotels we stayed in had great hot breakfasts

Was a beautiful hotel. Just disappointed that pool was closed and no breakfast, only grab & go.

New and updated. Off the Interstate, but did not really hear road noise. Also, I loved this hotel had staff at the front desk 24/7 and additional parking for large vehicles/moving trucks.

Everything was perfect.

New Hotel with great location on the east side of Amarillo. Next to the Big Texan Steakhouse and an easy drive to Palo Duro Canyon. Friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.

The location was perfect for us as we were traveling along the Highway that the hotel was located on.

The breakfast was subpar but under the current conditions very understandable.

Pet fee at a La Quinta now!

Breakfast is great! It’s easy and has selections for the kiddos.

Room design is funky but it doesn’t detract from the overall experience.

Need, great location, nice size rooms and nice breakfast.

Was unaware of the pet fee, first La Quinta that we have stayed in that charges a pet fee!

Very nice accommodations. Facility is nicely decorated and updated. The hot breakfast was great. Staff was most pleasant and accommodating

The older man working nights! Forgot his names but he was real nice and held a good attitude threw out the whole conversation unlike the woman from the morning!

The fact that i got charged a ghost charge of 100$ for accindetal fee from the woman i checked in on, she said i would get it right after i check out i asked her twice about that since IVE NEVER been charged for anything like that. Won't go back!

LOTS AND LOTS OF DOGS!!!! The dogs are loud when they start barking at each other in the hall. The hotel needs to tell guests that they allow so many dogs just in case guests are afraid of dogs.

The beds were so comfortable, the staff was efficient and courteous, the room had everything we needed.
