Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham Amarillo

Remodeling the hotel but that is “ lipstick on a Pig” when you go cheap and not replace the air conditioner. Old unit that had us sweating all night!

Is not anything like photos. No pool, no breakfast, no hot water, noisy workers, dirty, unsafe feeling

It was quiet

Checked into a room that the AC didnt work, was dirty and beds weren't made, and refused to.give us a different room

Had a ceiling fan in the room, comfortable beds.

Nobody said anything about the pool being closed when I asked hours. We went to swim and all of a sudden they said it was closed. They didn?t offer anything to make it better. We went to watch TV instead and the TV didn?t work. My kids were disappointed

Right across the street from Life Church so we could easily attend the 8:30 am experience on Sunday, or the Saturday at 5:00 pm

Was only there one night, but it was clean, and the front desk person that checked me in was both efficient and sympathetic to pulling in at 1am with a wife and 4 kids in tow, got into our room and the whole family was quickly asleep

This is super subjective as if I were coming from a different direction I would have a different opinion but would have been nice to be a bit closer to I-40 lol

Location, cleanliness, and honesty. We forgot something valuable in the room and we recovered it thanks to the staff at the front desk.

Beds were very comfortable

AC & curtains had mold all over them Toilet was broken but got fixed timely Sink knob was broken

The size and layout of the room was good. The location was good.

House keeping needs improvement. The bathroom faucet was stained with toothpaste and the couch had hairballs. The internet is not secured and was slow. There was no way to hook up streaming device to the tv.

The night shift front desk staff was inattentive. They did not wear any identifying clothing that suggested they worked there. Street clothing was very casual on that shift. Day and afternoon front desk staff were dressed smartly and professional.

The room was spacious and very comfortable.

The pool wasn¿t the cleanest but had the potential to be nice.

Check in staff was nice

Advertised as a Spa. No working hot tub, pool water cold. Sink did not drain. Floor left our socks dirty.

Hot tub did not work and the employees lied about it. I checked the other motels they owned in town and all of them were broken. I called one day before arriving and they said it was working, but the maintenance people said it has been broke for weeks.

The location between Amarillo and Canyon made it best for us

This comfort inn and suites is by far below average. When I travel with my kids we always stay at comfort inn and suits. This hotel was in poor dirty condition starting at the front entrance to the rooms.

Hotel was exactly what I expected. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good. No complaints.

The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good and the lady taking care of the breakfast did a great job

Our room was really dusty like they never cleaned the room. The shower head was dirty. The location was out of the way of things

Nothing stood out, just an average hotel, clerk was not available at check out sitting in her truck smoking. Cow t go back!!

The pull out bed was filthy, there was food and blood stains on the mattress. Doubled up sheets . Room was not sealed after the cleaning which led us to wonder if it was sanitized. Other rooms were sealed!

Location and having access to a fridge and microwave. Breakfast.

The room needed lighting in living area. It would have been nice for the website to state there was construction nearby, I missed the best exit. Also the pool was closed but web page did not indicate this fact.

The girl at the front desk who was working on the evening of our arrival was AWESOME. The lady who was working the front desk the next morning, was AWFUL. However, I did not get either of their names.,

There was no shower curtain in the bathroom, and when I called down to the front desk to let them know, she did not care or fix the problem. And in the second room we had, there were HAIRS in the bed. Which i don¿t think the sheets had been changed.
