Holiday Inn - Memphis Downtown - Beale St. by IHG

On their website, they claimed that they had an airport shuttle, which they do not. I would not have stayed there if that service wasn’t available.

Hotel employee did great jobs helping us with the room and breakfast. The location was great for enjoying Beale Street, just a short walk away.

Lobby air conditioning was not working, first room they put us in had a serious leak in bathroom from ac unit above the room, second bathroom had signs of a previous leak. Parking was higher than expected.

The convenience to a few places

It was hot, my room wouldn’t cool less than 76. False advertised room service in which he was rude. Decided to tell mr he don’t even do pick up because of his last experience as of that had anything to do with me.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. From the moment we checked in until we left it was clear that customers service and guest satisfaction were not a priority. The first room we were assigned had a strong odor of mold and mildew

The condition of the hotel was unacceptable, and the level of customer service was even worse. The staff seemed unconcerned about resolving guest issues and showed very little urgency or professionalism. II cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

Leaving. I loved staying at the Doubletree before it closed. I was looking for a new place and this was literally one block away. The location is great.

The entire experience was a series of disappointments. Upon arrival, the lobby was warm and so was the room. Then we found out that we had no hot water at all. Add in a fight outside our room about 2 am and that was the cherry on top.

The elevators did not work so had to walk up to the 7th floor. They had a problem with the air conditioning, although they provided a fan, also there was no hot water. Can't say this was a enjopyable experience.

Walking distance to Beale Street

A/C and the security gate were not working.

Location.

Security: questionable person hanging out in valet area. Felt he should have been kicked off the property. This person later threatened my wife and I with damage to our car. I reported this but staff not concerned.

It was clean

They have terrible attitudes and staff no one to help you when something is wrong with the hotel on duty at all. Lies about parking and no maintenance to fix the problems in the hotel room.

We checked in and there was no heat anywhere in the hotel except for the room the second day the main waterline busted through through the lobby through the floor. We had to go through 6 inches of water up 12 flights of stairs, pack our stuff and check in

The location was very nice and overall the staff was nice as well.

I had a horrible stay. There was a leak in my bathroom and their only option was for me to relocate at 2 am. No one came to see the damage or even to check if we were ok or not.

The location of the hotel and the cleanliness

I was traveling and left my wallet in Charlotte the older lady at the front acted like she didnt want to help me out the black man stepped in and let me check in. I didnt have a big towel to dry off with when I got out of my shower so I used a lil towel

Hotel needs attention both renovations/updates and cleaning services, specifically hallways were filthy, carpet needs cleaning, bathroom was too crowded for function, staff was present and easy to find, however not much warmth/hospitality

The first night of our stay we found a cockroach in the room. We were able to change rooms the next night, but that was not a good experience.

It was close to the attractions we wanted to see.

The AC in our room was not working. They moved us three times and the AC was somewhat working in the last room but it was late, we were tired so we stayed but would have preferred to leave but the reservation us non-refundable so we were stuck!

Location was great.

No food options. Coffee pots empty in the lobby first thing in the morning.

Holiday inn cleanliness

Hotel is very run down. Hvac was so loud we had to turn it off. Creepily low ceilings in bathroom. Not nearly as nice as we¿d expect from a Holiday Inn

Convenience of location

Nothing worked in the room. Outlets, tights, no microwave, sheets were reused and dirty, housekeeping didn't understand English and it was frustrating talking to them, charged for everything expensive parking, breakfast
