Hampton Inn Memphis-Southwind

The housekeepers were rude, and the hotel did not have enough towels for the rooms. The housekeepers hatefully said that “it wasn’t their fault they didn’t have any to give us to shower because people steal them!”

Cost effective Friendly staff Good location and hot breakfast

The night auditor was very pleasant. He was the only staff member that was professional and pleasant!

The staff was very rude and unprofessional. The hotel needs a deep cleaning, the air conditioning in hallways were non-existing. No clean towels or linen for the sofa sleeper. This hotel should be ranked negative stars if could! Horrible experience!

We rented the May15th-19th. NO room service, NO clean towels available!

The staff was very rude and uninviting. The Hotel ran out of towels at 9 AM in the morning so I was not able to get a clean towel for my shower. The breakfast ran out early and when I asked about the food being re-stocked I had the door shut in my face

Stayed there for 3 days and housekeeping forgot to clean room even after request, bathroom clogged, phone not working,no extra towels ,TV remote broken and 2nd remote for other TV,no sheets and comforter for the sofa bed, smoking smell in corridor

Staff was friendly!

The room was clean except fort he sheets. But he were able to ask for some other sheets and we slept well. The bed is comfy. The breakfast was good. The place that needed more cleaning was the elevators. But other than that it was decent.

The heater sound toooo loud! All night turn the hot wind and cold wind all night long with loud sound!

They did not tell me they changed my room type from. 2 Queen beds to one king bed it was two of us. It was the only room they had my bestie slept on a sofa bed

Carpet was dirty,shower curtin was in poor condition, stains on roll out mattress,not enough light in room very dark. I was there for an convention, hotel was limited on towels. Staff was pleasant assisted when needed.

Worst stay at a hotel ever. What kind of room in the carpet was wet?Which is what we've experienced the whole time.It was so horrible.Then when we walked in the bathroom , it was wet footprints coming in. Items that was sitting on the floor in Bags wet.

It was in a convenient area where u could get to the highway and Resturants and stores , good location! Staff was friendly and helpful!

I found that night that the staff/supervisor there when we checked in was very nice, accommodating, very patient, and forthcoming with all the information we needed. Unfortunately, we do not have the names of the staff/supervisor on May 4, 2024.

First room was not clean, underwear on the floor. Front desk clerk was really nice. Moved us to another room (the same) Smell was horrible in both, we bought air freshener. Beds were hard as all get out! Never will I ever stay at another Hampton anywhere.
