Wagner Lakeside Motel

I can't think of anything that was pleasant.

The sheets were dirty. There was not enough towels in the room. Then when my daughter went to get more she was hassled by the staff and their children and was told they did not have any more towels. Worst motel experience ever. Will not return.

They double charged me then when I called them to try to straighten it out I was yelled at and disrespected then he hung up on me .

the price i paid for through booking.com was run through twice at higher price than what i signed for. double booking is what call it. I'm paying for one only, never at.com

No chain locks on doors. No phone and me and my daughter got bit by something.

The only choice at the end of a long day. Comfortable enough considering age and styles of furnishings.

Old, mis matched furnishings. ADA room with questionable shower head.

Breakfast was minimal. Pancakes, bagels or cereal.

The hotel was in need of repairs. Looks as though it has had some hard use. The owner was pleasant, and I took the third room he showed me.

The price.

The rooms were dirty. Towels and washcloths were stain and dirty. The rooms looks as though they were not cleaned. We were there for 5 days, and our trash was never emptied.

The staff was friendly, and the parking was convenient. The room was spacious, and the motel was close to my destination. It was quiet and felt safe.

There were several things that were broken or dirty in the room, i.e. mold in the shower and boogers on the bathroom wall. There was hair all over the bathroom floor. The beds and pillows were not particularly comfortable. The room felt old and dated.

Breakfast was minimal but sufficient and location was good. Bed was comfortable, slept well. typical small town hotel. Nothing over the top but clean and nice for an overnite stay out of town.

Only waffles for breakfast and owner was rude and didn't know how to use the booking site....got there at midnight and was not going to give me a room at first saying my card was declined i never gave him payment became i used booking.com I had confirmation from booking.com long wait to check in because of this

Wagner is small but this place is convenient to everything. It was quiet and clean, with a simple breakfast. We had an accessible room which was helpful for us and spacious. The staff was helpful.

It could be updated a bit and the breakfast cereal was stale, but really it was comfortable and felt very safe.

Worst experience

The room was filthy the hotel was poorly kept old and run down. Low battery beeping from multiple Smoke alarms. Had the audacity to tax me on-top of the quote given to me by BOOKINGS.

We didn't like anything. The room was dirty. There was loose garbage in several places in the room. A towel rod was broken and hang off the wall. The smoke detector was broken and in a dresser drawer with bare wires exposed from where the detector should have been. The window had no lock on it and it was on the ground level. We had concerns that the room could easily be broken into.

my only complaint is the pillows were terrible

The location was convenient, the rooms were relatively quiet, and the breakfast was basic but sufficient.

The towels were stained and I found long hairs embedded in them. there were stains on the comforters. The pop machines were empty. The price was higher than it was worth.

Beds were comfirtable

Obvious lack of repair. Fire doors held open with door stops rather than electromagnets.

It was one of the only places to stay in Wagner. The price was good.

The information on Booking.com said there was breakfast. There was hardly anything in the breakfast area. The lights weren't on. Hardly any coffee in coffee pot.
