Quality Inn Mt. Pleasant - Charleston

Great place to sleep and great location. Hotel employee at front desk was awesome!

Everything else. Floors were slippery. Had been cleaned with the wrong product. Laminated tips of desk and end tables were oily. Again wrong cleaning product. Bath area was very old and run down. Poorly maintained. Lukewarm water only.

We were told breakfast was at 6.30 and we were there at 6.30 as we had a baseball game to go to on Saturday!The doors were still not open by 6.40 and had to leave to get to our game!!! So we didn?t get to have breakfast!

The receptionist was very helpful and friendly.

Room 150 had a refrigerator leak and mold growing behind it. There were several problems with the door cards.

When I went in to check in the lady at the counter asked me if I could climb about 8-10 steps to the second floor. I explained to her that I had booked I had requested a handicap room. I had my e-mail still on my phone she stated. Well they lied to you

There was a chair with a broken leg. The shower handle didn¿t work so we were not able to shower before we When I told the lady at the desk she didn¿t apologize just remarked that she would add it the maintenance man¿s list

The pool area was decent

The rooms were dark and dingy, brighter light bulbs would go a long way. The bathroom was dirty, a folded up washcloth that wash obviously dirty when I went to use it. Also, should supply bottled water for the coffee maker.

The location of the hotel was excellent. Very close to the Charles Ravenel Bridge that takes you into downtown Charleston. It was easy to travel back and forth to the city toll free.

The air conditioner in our room was loud and extremely annoying. The drapes and carpets were old and worn. The beds were advertised as queen size but were regular size. The entire motel is outdated and needs an urgent remodeling.

Location was good, 10 minute drive to cruise ship terminal.

Room was ok, not super clean but served its purpose. The air conditioning didn¿t work well, room never cooled down. Staff were nice enough and moved us to a different room but that one wasn¿t any better. We all laid in the bed sweating all night.

The continental breakfast was very nice and the rooms must have been sound proof, I didn¿t hear noise that woke me up.

I didn¿t like the street light shining through the windows.

Price and location

Breakfast area was too small and it was very hot while eating breakfast. The breakfast itself was good.

They were open.

The front desk lady was a little rude and the staff parked their cars by the front doors under the over hang.

The staff so was kind. Their continental breakfast was amazing and had plenty of options! The location is perfect because it¿s not far from downtown and there is a lot of food options close by.

The room was very clean, it even passed our black light inspection that we do upon checking in to a room. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. The staff was friendly and our family felt completely safe here. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The ONLY complaint I have is when we first checked in to our room it had a strong chemical odor in it. The first night I had to sleep with my shirt over my face because the smell was bothering my asthma but the other two nights we stayed it was fine.

I stayed here a few years ago for the first time and everything was perfect. This time the air conditioner barely worked , the hot water did not work in the shower and the shower was hardly clean. Cleaning crew was super noisy also!
