Sleep Inn Gaffney at I-85

Yes, we had to look at several rooms because they had a water leak through out the building and all the rooms had a pungent order of mold and mildew. They apologized. However it sent my husband to a urgent care because it triggered his asthma.

When I booked it stated that it was 10 minutes from Business destination. It was a 25 minute drive, from my destination.

Excellent hot breakfast bar and clean room with very comfortable bed. Hotel was well maintained.

Hotel was somewhat difficult to find especially at night.

It was the perfect location, the lady at the desk was lovely. For a sleep and go it's great

It could use new carpet, it's out dated

The rudeness of the clerk because I asked if she thought telling people they might steal from a room was insulting to the guests and she got very hostile and telling me she would cancel my reservations very rude. Never use Gaffney sc motels

The hotel itself was excellent. Our first night there was just marvelous.

Day 2 of our stay, we was informed by  that we was not in a pet room & basically made me & my fiance feel like we was just a disgrace to the hotel because her employee working the night before had not placed us in a pet friendly room

The warm and welcoming staff. Nice selection for breakfast. 24 hour at desk. We were there for 10 days and did require a redo about 1 week, which was completed nicely.

The fridge was super old, the microwave was old too. However they both did work but was questionable. I understand it is hard to secure staff and at times the hallways and stairways were requiring attention.

Leaving.

The room smelled of smoke. The bed visibly has a rut in middle. The smoke alarm needed a new battery. No one could fix it and I was offered a battery to change it myself. A man was smoking in the hallway next to my room. It is loud.

good value and dog friendly acomadations. The 3 nice ladies working the desk were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

worst pillows ever and cheap bath towels.

The staff was excellent. They have done several small things that are excellent be it the sandalwood soap and lotion to the oats and honey snack bars and several packs for peanut butter, honey, cream cheese etc. The staff made fresh hash browns as well

Easy off & on the interstate. The PROMISE of breakfast; denied us by the staff closing an hour & half early.

Mildew in A/C, window left open during rain; very humid in room. Sheets rough & pillows musty. Staff closed down breakfast 1.5 hor's early, told us breakfast ended at 8:30, despite the sign in livy & room said 10:00am. Pool was a lovely green color

Price and location

Third floor smells of smoke. 2 queen mattresses in my room that had severe depressions in the middle. The sides wrapped around you as you laid in the middle.

Bed was SOOO comfortable! AC got the room nice and cold. Breakfast hours were later for the weekend which was also very nice. Person taking care of breakfast was very sweet and great with the customers. Had a wonderful night sleep and great morning!

Location

Bed was terrible, room could be updated, check in staff had the personality of a used tire.

You have got to be kidding me. THis is not a 2.5 star hotel. It is less than 100 linear feet from a major interstate highway so the truck noise was beyond anything I can even describe.

The Carpeting was torn and the grout between the tile in bath area stained or mouldy and the "shower" was a fiberglass canister like tube But the highway noise is significant to the point where it was difficult to sleep and I am not a light sleeper.

Nonsmoking room was next to a smoking room and smelled a bit like smoke

Hotel was clean, staff was very nice.

Wifi did not work.

Front desk staff were unprofessional and housekeeping kept arguing in the morning.

The clerk was very sweet
