The large old school room and the front desk clerk during checkin (10) he went above what I expect from that role. The checkout clerk responded to my feedback that the door lock needs maintenance with ambivalence sayin yeah we hear that a lot. (4)

The parking was catch as catch can The door locks were often stuck and required repeated attempts. My egress on checkout took five mi a of repeat attempts to get the door to release

The loud train whistle going off HOURLY, all night long. Eventually just packed and left around 4am.

We loved that the hotel was in a refurbished old hotel. Loved the character of the building, but with modern updates.

No, overall, we were very pleased with our choice of hotel for this trip.

The customer service was outstanding during my two-day stay. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable I have ever experienced, and I have traveled the country due to numerous work assignments. The location had its own restaurant which I loved!

All aspects of the hotel exceeded my expectations!

The character and age of building. Safe location and close to restaurants.

    Nothing!! It was perfect

The Hotel Staff was outstanding. Very polite, professional and helpful. The Victor restaurant was very nice. Food was tasty.

I very disappointed with the room. Very dark, dated, no closet or wardrobe cabinet for clothes, furniture was minimal, no fridge, no ironing board or iron. The website pictures were very misleading.

There was a party with a band 10 ft from our window at night. The windows provided no buffer from the noise. The hotel staff came to our room, said it was ridiculously loud but there was nothing they could. My 6 year old couldn't sleep through the noise.

Good location, not a bad hotel.

Late night front desk staff was rude. There is a professional way to address a concern. He totally lacked professionalism!

    10JuliaPosted on: 5-9-2022

    The kind staff Easy parking

Shower was extremely slippery and shower shelf wouldn¿t hold anything - it all kept rolling off

    Location

Way too expensive for such small mediocre rooms.

    5Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 12-20-2019

Good location, for Florence, SC. Clean room, courteous desk service.

Should be more concrete as to what parking is available when, on booking. Kuerigs are terrible in all forms and should not be the only form of coffee available both in the room and at breakfast. We had a humidifier running in our room, didn't know why.

    Location

The hotel restaurant did not stay open for thanksgiving dinner. Which made it very difficult for guests to find dinner since the entire town shut down on thanksgiving. The hotel staff wrongly informed us that the restaurant would stay open. Beds were tiny

Loved where the hotel was located. It was very quaint and so cute. I wish it had a pool because Florence is SO hot in the summer but the room was clean and very comfortable.

    Wish it had a pool
