It is in great shape and well kept for an authentic historic building. The location is right up from the main street in Newport. The staff was excellent about checking us in and making sure we were settled.
Amazing. The Inn keeper was extremely welcoming and very knowledgeable about the area. The 24 hour kitchen was fully stocked with organic breakfast foods and beverages.

The location is excellent. We had a king suite (room 18) and it was very roomy for two people, clean and a very comfortable bed. The pillows were a little too stiff for us but the extra ones in the tv cabinet to be softer.
It is not that I do not like it but the breakfast is self serve, which is fine with me. The kitchen is well appointed and clean with coffee, tea, muffins, croissant, English muffins, fresh fruit. There are farm fresh eggs if you wish to make your own.
