Really cool room with a ton of space

I liked the location. It was so close to everything in Newport. I am a walker so it probably is easy for me. Hotel would be a problem for anyone with mobility issues. Very steep stairs to second-floor lounge/coffee room. Glad my room was on 1st floor

Very steep stairs to 2nd floor (but it is an old house). The manager seemed a little reluctant to get the morning treat box when I had gone out and was back by 8:15 a.m. He assumed I wasn't coming back. He seemed a little put off when I asked for it.

Charming Victorian accommodations, very clean with amenities, excellent service from host, fantastic location in the center of town. Paid parking lot was a 3 minute walk away. Loved our suite and its views, proximity to shops, restaurants, marinas.

No onsite parking except to unload but everything else was so convenient it didn't really matter. Location is within walking distance of most of town center. Host was clear about parking arrangements in advance so we were fully prepared.

It is badly in need of maintenance. Exterior paint is falling off. Upholstered furniture worn through. Exterior furniture falling apart. Breakfast Was two cookies the size of a half of dollar and2 cherries. 3 grapes and 1/2 of a strawberry. Pathetic.

The owner was very welcoming and accommodating. You can tell he really enjoys running the Inn.

The proximity to the main shopping/night life area was a blessing but a curse. It was very convinent, but being an old home the sound from the street carried at night. Fortunately we tend to stay up late but it would be difficult for an early sleeper.

Perfect spot at the crossroads of Thames Street and Memorial Blvd..Withing easy walking distance of downtown Newport. The mansions do require a car to get to.

Owner was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Check-in time was flexible, and parking was just a block away. Adorable layout in room. Location couldn't be beat, in the heart of all the action and within walking distance to everything.

Room was tidy, but not clean. Shower had used soap in it from previous occupant and hair on the floor. Utensil bin in the kitchenette had a nail file in it. Filthy potholder with crusted food on it. Bedding smelled musty and had hairballs.

Great location, near everything.

The furniture was dusty, shower stall was dirty. No office personnel on site, a friendly resident showed us around, explained this is really off-season and not staffed as it would be in season.

Parking was tight but not impossible
