Hampton Inn Pittsburgh/Monroeville

Easy to find. Always has a big sign viewable from the interstate/road. When you select a Hampton Inn, you kind of know what you will get.

Hotel could have been cleaner and more picked up. Looked like a lot of construction workers were/had stayed there. For the cost of the hotel, it should have been better.

Parking

booked a 2 queen bed room and was forced to have a king room with a pull out cot, not ideal for an adult with bad back!!!! they also charged for the room which i had to go and have credited back off my card.

The pool area was nice, and the breakfast area was well stocked.

Despite booking 6 months in advance, they oversold our room type and we got bumped to a room that didn't function well for our needs. We would have been happy to cancel completely for a refund, but we were not given that option.

Close to the destination temple

Room had an ac that made alot of noise all night. Could not sleep

Room not as lean as expected. Dirty towel from previous guess still hanging. Bed still not ready with pillows messy up. Fridge still left food smell from previous guess.

Hotel staff at the front was extremely rude. There are no water dispensers at the facility and they charged us for water bottles.

Location / accessibility: Close to the Interstate 86/386 exit.

It was in better shape 2 yrs back, now the staff completely changed and cleanliness is missing and the rates are still high.

The location was perfect And it was nice to be on the 1st floor with my puppy The staff was friendly and nice

Just the entrance that you couldn't get into the hotel parking lot from the highway I think the rooms can use new pillows and sheets and comforter and curtains

We checked in around 12am. We we¿re planning on sleeping in late & stay close to the 12pm checkout. Around 9am someone was banging loudly on our door and it was the housekeeping asking if we needed anything, so we said no. Our rest was ruined, not happy.

My room wasn't ready. I tried repeatedly checking in. I had to find somewhere else to dress. At 8:00 they said my room would be ready in an hour. They didn't call or answer the phone. It's 12:30AM I'm scrambling for a place to stay. Had reservation!!!!

Location

The hotel was crowded. The pool area was not clean and pool water was not clear/clean as one would expect.

The staff was friendly and greeted me each time they saw me. The location was convenient to everything. My room and the hotel itself was very clean. The room was also very comfortable.

I felt the window was a little small and should have been centered on the wall instead of all the way over to one end. A larger, more centered window would have given the room a much more open feel. Other then that, everything was great!

Breakfast was good. Location was good

Our room was dirty the shower did not drain I did not get the room I paid for staff was rude

Complimentary Brekfast, location to restaurants

I was double charged for room... however the staff was very nice and was able to get my card reimbursed.

The gym was the only redeeming part of this stay

From the trash in the front of the building to the debris in my room i wpuld have expected much more for the money I was charged. I felt like i was ins truckers hotel at times. Almost left the 1st night but hospital was across the street, reason here

Good location, but surrounded by highway noise. Friendly and helpful staff.

The carpet needed replaced as there was a damage to it in front of the couch. The pillows were not comfortable at all.

The doors on the room are extremely loud, opening and closing. The Breakfast was very lacking.
