    Pros +

    • Service was great, beds were amazing. Very nice common areas and restaurant.
    • The cleanliness and the bed was comfortable.
    • Cleanliness and Japanese style

    Cons -

    • The bathrooms are super nice in the rooms and huge, but there is no counter space for someone to put there stuff on to get ready for a wedding or other event. My wife had to sit on the bed without a mirror to do her hair and makeup.
    • This wasn't something that bothered me - but most hotel have hair dryers in them.
    • The reservation process from booking.com SUCKS and is inaccurate!!!! I ordered a double room for family and theg only had a king bed.... it was explained that they are unable to change that with this agency. The hotel apologized and accommodated us with a different room. A sincere thank to the staff but that sucks for others if they are full and cannot!!!! NOT COOL BOOKING.COM

This is our go to hotel when we are traveling to the Portland area. Love the clean, modern Japanese inspired lines of the hotel. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. Love the Waterfalls restaurant inside the hotel, food selection and prices are very good. We always eat here when we stay at the hotel. The value for the rooms and the service is exceptional. Great bedding, and comfortable beds and pillows!

The only complaint and this is very minor is that our Keurig machine had water in the well that had ants in it, probably just an oversite on housekeeping's part. And I have never had anything to complain about in the last 4 visits and this was very minor to me, it happens.

Hello. The hotel is very modern and comfortable to stay in, and the staff are welcoming and friendly. Thank you! I have a suggestion: please put gel and shampoo dispensers in the rooms where the daily rate is $120. It's very strange that I stayed for three days and only got one small bottle for one use. There aren't enough disposable slippers in the pool area, and when they asked for a $100 deposit per day instead of a total for the entire stay, it caused me to react negatively. I stayed for three days and was asked to pay a $300 deposit. This is unheard of, and since this is a northern state, it would be great if you could install a gas fireplace with a bench outside where guests could wrap themselves in a blanket and drink wine. I wish you continued success and good guests!

It’s only a couple years old. It was super clean and the staff was excellent! The pool was super cool and different!

It was a little stark. Which wasn’t bad just different than what we are used to.

I love that it is tucked away from the city. Right when you walk in the ambiance is very calming and relaxing. Staff is very polite and helpful! The entire hotel is beautiful from art work, down to the lighting. Came with my son to stay the night for a sport terminate so unfortunately did not get to use the spa, will be back on a solo trip soon to try all the amenities!

Spacious room. Very clean and relaxing. Huge bathroom. Nice restaurant on site.

Everybody was curtious. The place was clean and comfortable.

The double sink faucets were so close to the mirror that they were taking the mirror trim off and the water was about an inch into the sink. It made it difficult to use. They need to tell people to use a towel on the shower floor it is really slick when it gets wet. I almost fell when I slipped.

Loved the Japanese theme and elegant decor. Everything was spacious, convenient, and comfortable. Friendly staff and delicious food.

    It was quiet and clean

The pillows were very thin. Would bring my own next time.

I thought the hotel had great facilities. The gym was nice, and I heard from others how nice the pool was. Unfortunately, I did not have time myself to use it. The location was convenient for having a place outside of Portland with easier access to the coast.

Lovely hotel ~ I didn't use the spa and soaking tub area but it seemed as though it would've been a lovely way to unwind at the end of the day. Instead I did a soak in the deep tub in my bathroom. The hotel itself is quite beautiful throughout and my king bed was quite comfortable and the room was spotless. Thank you for a lovely nights stay! Oh, and the staff upon check in had granted my request to be on the upper most floor of the hotel so that was appreciated as well.

Hot pool, room size, bidet in bathroom!

Staff very friendly and helpful. Loved the shower and soaking tub

Beds too hard. No dressers for clothing

Absolutely enjoyed our stay here. The room was crisp and clean, with a unique Japanese-style restroom that we really liked. The sake bar and onsen experience were exceptional, and the staff was very friendly. Overall, it far exceeded our expectations for the price, such great value!

There wasn’t much we didn’t like. The hallway had a faint “new hotel” smell, but it’s not a big deal. I also wish the restaurant had a few more traditional dishes on the menu—it would really complement the wonderful Japanese touches throughout the hotel.

Great value and clean rooms. Staff friendly and accommodating. After checkout we were able to leave luggage so we could travel more.

Someone staying above us with heavy feet so we walking sounded like pounding.Could hear the water from shower above us or gurgling sounds from our AC unit. Missing a set of towels, but was brought to us quickly.
