Cons -
- Our booked room wasn?t available. We had to squeeze in a very small room the first night.

- The shower was a step in tub which would be great if I'd planned to take a bath but for showering it was a little difficult getting in and out cuz of the large step down.

Balcony
The pillow case had a stain on it. The mirror was broken. The place use to offer bkfast and that was no longer a option and it looked rundown
When I got to the hotel I was told my reservation was canceled cause they had no rooms available
Not sure did not get to check in
Clean and Tidy. Nice people.
Lock on door to balcony was broken (couldn't use balcony). Nobody came to fix it it, despite telling them. No parking area for our car was a bit of a problem (used a garage two blocks away). Small potion of soap and hair shampoo in the bathroom.
Location to areas of interest
Other than maintenance, broken security lock and slow drain in shower no complaints
New, very clean, nicely furnished, great decor, good water pressure, all appliances functional, close to subway, quiet. I look forward to staying again and have added Dutch Kills to my hotel and apartment search based on this experience.
Construction next door, but wasn¿t loud or noisy so no real issue.
Some in staff are friendly and accommodating
The bed is very uncomfortable. It just had a thin sheet. I asked the staff and they said that's really how it is - its my first time seeing this kind of setup, even more basic hotels have a thicker comforter/down type blanket layer.
Only having 4 rooms on our floor. City view.
Didn't notice tiny no parking sign when we unloaded our luggage.$60 parking ticket. Thought nearby parking garage was $25/night, paid $75 for 2 nights. A fight at the corner store, loud, woke us up at 3:30am. We checked out at 5am instead of 8am.
Upon entering our "city view king room" we saw someone had disconnected the smoke alarm and left smoking supplies (pipe, lighter, etc.) outside on our deck. There was no city view. The bed had no blanket. I would write more but there's not enough space.
There was only one outlet near the bed. I had to charge my phone in the bathroom. The desk that was advertised was where the TV was sitting, so really there was no desk. The room was 75 degrees when we came in. It reeked of smoke.
The location and price were appealing
The bed sheets had stains and tears. The mattress protector had holes and dark spots around the corners. One of the light fixtures in the bathroom didn't work. Rooms and lobby were very tight.
the hotrl inside is too good clean and good service
area outside and the hotel look too bad
Price and location
Dirty and smelly bedspreads, stained carpet
This hotel is an unexpected gem with an amazing price point! The decor, use of space, personnel interactions & accommodations were great (even had a bible; rare). The proximity to the subway was nice. This is our planned go to hotel for any future visits.
The location was worrisome upon pulling in, was not sure if the hotel was clean or safe - but it appears to be an up and coming neighborhood with great potential. Parking is very limited - thankfully, options for public transportation are near by.
Great location. Near multiple train lines & a short trip into the city. Comfortable bed. The city view room has a pretty cool view of the city & bridge. The staff was pleasant. Deep tub for soaking.
The room is tiny. (Even for NY standards) Small appearance issues...like a rip in the blinds for example. The towels are hard. The TV guide has NOTHING to do with the actual channels. It's a 2.5 star hotel, temper expectations.
- Nice location (near Metro station) - Free breakfast - Nice staff
- Small Room - AC was broke down (during my stay)
Just the simplicity of the hotel in general because most hotels have high expectations, and can be very disappointing. Staff is stellar at their work, and it's almost like a nice small home away from home boutique of sorts type of hotel.
I wish there were chairs instead of an ottoman to sit on. Other than that, all is stellar!
Professional service, clean rooms, great utilities (breakfast, wifi)
Location
No microwave or parking anywhere.
