Spark by Hilton Syracuse Carrier Circle

Location to airport

Some of the outlets wouldn’t fit charger, stain on sheets and in need of painting, bathroom doors were scraped and room had mildew smell

Easy to get to. Breakfast in the morning.

No close by eating places.

Breakfast was amazing!

Hallway?s were dark and stairwell smelled like cigarette smoke

Room smelled like sewage, AC/heating unit was broken, tub was filthy, Manager lied to me and refused to help.

There's some nice things about this hotel: * The staff were friendly & easy to approach. * The rooms were very nice. * The breakfast was 'decent' (alternating bacon & sausage was nice of them). * The location was easy to find.

A few things need to be addressed: * Hallways always smelled like weed (people smoking weed in their rooms). * Elevators are very old. * Always someone smoking out in front of the hotel. * No regular milk, bread, or hot chocolate at breakfast.

The free breakfast was decent & open until 11am, the Wi-Fi was free & didn't have a limit set. Staff was honest & professional, and I felt properly compensated for the issues that I encountered during the stay.

There was no hot water the entire stay, the heavy/blackout curtain didn't cover most of the window so the street light outside kept waking me up. The first 2 rooms I was put into had Bed Bug stains on the mattresses, and the elevators needed maintenance.

Front desk woman was wonderful. Very accommodating. She gave me another room when my TV wouldn't work.

Breakfast was rather limited. Coffee machine broke down, no coffee. Luckily I got one cup in before it broke down. Another breakfast machine wasn't working. I think they can improve their breakfast.

Location

No hot water Latch on door loose Hair in the bathroom upon arrival

The breakfast was very good and the bed was very comfortable.

The heater, in our room, had a really bad smell. We had to keep it off and use extra blankets.

When we arrived, I had not brought my blow drier, I went and asked at front desk, they were very friendly, I had a drier in minutes. When we went to turn on TV, there was no remote, back to front desk Got one, all Good!!! Staff very friendly and nice.

The only chair that was available was the office chair at desk, I would have been nice to have a comfortable chair to sit in. Rearrange the breakfast counter to have everything together, I missed the waffle machine because it was not visible.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

We were woken up by the ice machine outside our room all night. A security deposit was placed on my credit card at check in. I was charged $138.90 Canadian dollars but when the charge was reversed I only received $130 back so I was out almost $9!!!!!

Everything worked - unlike other hotels I've stayed at in the immediate vicinity. Breakfast was much better than expected too. The water in the tub/shower was could be REALLY hot if you wanted - a welcome item compared to others.

They were working on a new check-in software suite and there was a slight delay in getting registered but only about 10 minutes so it wasn't so bad.

The room was ok for the price and seemed clean.

Odd location.

Location

Booked a room and I wasn¿t able to check in until 3am. When I arrived they said I was no show and wasn¿t able to get a room

Convenient to airport

The first room we were placed in had stained sheets, milk in fridge, broken TV, and just seemed like it hadn't been cleaned thoroughly. We were moved to a new room.

The overall layout seem well thought out to me. The location was close to where we had to go.

The mattress in my room was too hard for my back, we didn't sleep well this night. The ice machine on our floor was broken, with no sign on it. I had to ask the front desk folks.

The hotel had a very nice breakfast which was include in the cost.

The walls were paper thin. We could hear every single conversation in the room beside us like there was nothing dividing our rooms. I'm not talking even a muffled conversation but you could outright hear even the person they were talking in the phone with

The coffee machine -- even though it wasn't really working. The bathroom (accessible) was large enough to put a pack and play in with plenty of space. Fridge + Microwave is great.

No comforter on the bed in winter (just a fleece blanket and top sheet). Breakfast was meh. Coffee machine in lobby needed supplies (syrup? ingredients?). Coffee machine in room required macguyvering to work. Insufficient outlets for small appliances.

The bed, eggs, sausage and potatoes were very good. I have stayed here before but definitely something has changed. Someone smoking weed in their car next to mine. The inside was so strong, drove with windows down to air it out as I had a business di

The tub had no stopper, the shower handle/tub spout where not caulked. The toilet not sealed and moved. Microwave not plugged in,removed placed on desk. The orange juice was warm, the pastries were ice cold.Cover for hot food did not stay up,difficult serv

Bed was comfortable. Some staff very friendly others acted like you were bothering. Breakfast wasn't horrible

The price was ridiculously high. They were double the normal rate because State fair was happening and I needed room due to my Dad being admitted to hospital. The hotel and room had horrible musty smell.
