- People should update their reviews-- the negative ones were pre-COVID. It's clear that the owners have done a TON of work. The bed was the most comfortable I've slept in away from home, the room had fresh paint, updated fixtures, and plenty of amenities.

- When there is no staff present at a motel, and no way to contact anyone emergencies cannot be addressed.
- The bathroom could be a bit better maintained-- toilet was stained & toilet area was a bit dusty, and the shower curtain bar was rusty. The facility name was also a bit misleading, especially as the Facebook page says it's in Hammondsport (it is not).
- Musty smell (like an older wet basement but not mildewy) One bed mattress was so sort/worn that if you did not sleep in the middle, you would slide off. The other mattress was good. The bathroom had brown stains and brown specs on the wainscoting

No management from what we could tell. The people at the adjacent restaurant where we checked in didn't seem to care much about servicing the motel guests. We couldn't even get extra coffees for the room for our 2nd day. This place has real potential.
That it was next to Keg and Barrel
There was no heat in the room, and had to be provided a space heater, which was terrible. Very uncomfortable, no sleep
Nice location, simple and clean, with a nice view of lake
