Chalet Inn & Suites Centerport

Staff was friendly. Rooms were clean. Kids enjoyed the pool. Don't let any negative reviews dissuade you.

One can see the the intentional look and layout of the hotel room. It is tidy and I've come to enjoy the look (I'm a 2nd time visitor to Chalet Inn).

Winter has certainly changed things, weather-wise. The wall-to-wall tile in the sink area and in the bathroom is really cold (1st floor room). The parking lot REALLY needs repaving.

They have very attractive outdoor features on the grounds the hotel sits on. My room was outfitted well and clean, but no coffee machine. I will certainly visit again, bringing my own coffee maker and grounds.

I really could have used a coffee maker in the room, even a little one. I don't drink the coffee that most places offer, so I bring my own Columbian Supreme when I travel. Ref: no coffee machine in the room. The continental breakfast was underwhelming.

Fantastic location on the north shore on Long Island. Old world charm with real door knobs and key minus all the electronics. Room extremely clean.

Sound insulation between rooms very poor. TV and conversation can hinder sleep.

Close to a venue we were going to be attending that evening.

We found a crawling bug under the main comforter as well as hair matted to the next bed covering under the main comforter.Man at office counter was rude/nasty to us & our 3 children. No mask or occupany requirements. Asked us to wait outside. Only us.

The location was perfect for my stay. The price fit my budget. The room was sufficiently clean.

There was no phone or hair dryer in the room. The shower and the toilet could use some updating.

The gentleman at the front desk greeted me by name, was friendly and efficient. The room was clean and neat. It was a good value for the money.

Quiet, close to center port. Nice staff.

The pool is VERY nice and new. The rooms are OK although old. AC was OK. Breakfast is only one piece of pound cake and coffee. I don't eat either of those things. The parking lot is TERRIBLE with many deep potholes. They are the only hotel around the area

Continental breakfast was not a continental breakfast! They gave you one cake and a small coffee. Also when I asked for extra towels for the pool they said they didn’t have any and they were waiting for a delivery whatever that means.

Had to stay overnight since we had snow storm and had to work at local hospital next day. Room was ice cold when i arrived at 3pm. No extra blankets they barely plowed lot and coworker got stuck.
