- Nice large bathroom and proximity to Main Street. Complimentary yogurt / orange juice in the refrigerator and muffins in the morning. Free internet.
Cons -
- No place to workout.
- No pool, no gym, walls needs to be painted!
- Shower head partially broken, bathroom door would close but not lock, lack of table or eating area besides small desk attached to the wall. Small bottles of alcohol on the fridge door fell out and broke when door was opened too quickly.

The staff was friendly and very helpful with suggestions for travel in the area. The bar and restaurant were fabulous with beautiful views of the falls over Fishkill Creek. We had a truly memorable stay and we highly recommend the Roundhouse.
Location
The hotel room was dirty- cob webs, dust, dirty carpet; phone, lamp, sink stopper were broken. The shower head was a garden hose. Beds were uncomfortable, the pillows, linens and blankets were cheap, piled, stained and disgusting. No internet.
The room was pleasant and a relatively smooth stay
ants in room ... little
I didnâ≢t like the spiders in the room. I also didnâ≢t like that they didnâ≢t change the sheets.
I love that it has history and our room was gigantic. Great sunlight, comfortable bed, very clean. The continental breakfast setup delivered daily is kind of sweet and great if you were already wanting a relaxed staycation feel. I also want to commend them on having normal prices on their minibar options.
It sits at the top of Main Street so I wasn’t mentally prepared to tackle some hills but I did appreciate that it was close enough to things but not in the thick of it.
Perfect location if you plan on walking along Main Street to shop, eat, etc. The staff were helpful and friendly. I loved that continental breakfast was delivered to the room each day; no trying to get to the dinning room before breakfast is over.
I didn't love the design of the shower, where it's half a glass wall and the rest is open. I'm sure this is fine in the summer, but in January it was chilly! The heater in our room was also loud.
The location can't be beat for strolling around Main Street, etc. The room we had (312, building where the lobby is) is rustic-looking, beautiful, and roomy. We appreciated the bathrobes, the nice toiletries, and the quiet area at night for sleeping.
Def need more plug outlets in the room. This is an issue the hotel should address. 1 side of the bed had zero outlets to access for recharging phone or plugging in anything. The desk also lacked ways to recharge or plug in things unless you got down under the desk on the floor.Breakfast: Though we loved having breakfast delivered to our door in the morning, the bagels weren't pre-sliced; no way to toast them & no plate (even paper one) provided.A small microwave and/or toaster in the room would be helpful, as would a disposable shower cap. Bathroom barn door needs a handle of some kind to open/close it!
The location was great and easy to get to. The high ceilings in the rooms are very nice. Shower area was spacious.
Sink didn’t drain in room. TV was hit or miss. Sometimes it just didn’t connect. Room had large black scuffs on walls. Lamp shade looked like it had water stains all over it. Makeup mirror provided didn’t work. When you walk in the lobby, it kind of looks like the entry of a busy apartment building with bikes parked inside and other miscellaneous items just kind of sitting there.
The continental breakfast was great!
We were there on a Tuesday and the restaurant was closed.
Clean, great customer service, location was perfect.
Honestly, we have no complaints. A little pricey.
Wonderful location, a great room, excellent air, peaceful.
The only disappointment was the breakfast: too sweet. It would have been ok if the yogurt had been plain and the bagel not white. (There were no options.) Also, the coffee is pretty bad.
My wife and I travel from Virginia twice a year to visit family in the Beacon area and we always stay at the Roundhouse. Excellent.

The location was close to the shops on Main Street. The decor was interesting and I liked the industrial aesthetic of the room (minus the lack of an area rug) with the wood accents. With hardwood floors there really should be slippers.
The staff was unfriendly (monosyllabic answers and no recommendations for food nearby), the bed was so uncomfortable that I slept 4h (usually not a problem for me when I travel), and the breakfast was mediocre. The person in the room above me was walking loudly until 2a and I could hear their conversation too. An area rug under the bed would have really helped dampen the noise… or slippers. There were also almost no amenities. I will not be staying here again.
This was a wonderful place to stay for a day trip! The location was perfect, at one end of the Main Street, the breakfast was simple and lovely, and the room was so cozy and well kept!! Would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful heritage building in a historical village with great and attentive staff.
The location was perfect, it was very clean and comfortable . Unfortunately you can hear your neighbors and too easily.
For the hefty price tag, an amenity or two would be nice . We were unaware of the lounge and bar area after it was too late . My suggestion is to have staff that is a bit more engaging and excited to tell you more about the property and beacon .
