Hampton Inn & Suites Dobson

The hotel was beautiful inside and outside. I loved the size of our room. Cleanliness of our room and the entire hotel. The friendly and kind staff.

The half foam pillows, the weighted cover on our bed, and the pool lift did not work. Couldn't go swimming. I was very disappointed.

Great location! Quiet. Wonderful, kind, and caring staff. My girls loved the pool.

No water in room, ice machine was out on the floor and had to go to other floors.

This hotel is in a perfect location, whether you are in the area to visit wineries or hike the mountains. We did both. Such a fun weekend!

Location to winery

RM 405 - shower - not able to make water a comfortable temperature. Tried for 5-7 minutes. Scorching hot, lacked water pressure. Carpeting in hall and room were disgusting.

The description was a little deceiving. It said suite that sleeps 5 but there was only one bed and one couch. That really only sleeps 4 max.

Room was very spacious and clean. The common spaces all appeared well maintained as well.

I needed a late checkout, they gave me til noon but it wasn't a very busy hotel. I ended up waiting for my ride in the lobby. It was ok but chilly in the lobby still better than outside I guess.

I love the location and shuttle service to Shelton Vineyards. Mt. Airy is close by for a fun little town to explore. The day started off right with the included/free breakfast.

The hotel was clean and the rooms were spacious. The king bed we slept on was uncomfortable. My back was hurting all night.

The odd thing is it is definitely convenient for what we came for...the winery tour. It is centrally located in th Yadkin Valley Vineries. The room was pristine and the staff great. The breakfast hit the spot, and the wine bar was wonderful.

Local restaurants are somewhat blah, but we were able to find several excellent eateries in local towns through Google.

Love the quiet area! Its way off the highway. Room was very clean and sanitized. Will definitely stay again.

unfortunately they happen to loose electricity that night just after we checked in about 5 pm. We read on foursquare about a restaurant that looked good. It was excellent! had to throw out leftovers. Staff was very good even lent us a flashlight

Electricity out, no TV, had to go up by stairs 4th floor dark. no emergency light!! no hot water, no wifi, parking to dark, i finally fell asleep to early and was up most of the night

Only complaint is no movies for purchase on t.v.
