Hampton Inn & Suites Kansas City Downtown Crossroads

The breakfast was terrific and the staff at the front desk and breakfast were very friendly and helpful.

The toilet in my room would continuously run. I asked the front desk for help, but nobody ever came to fix the problem. My room did not get cleaned everyday and the lights next to the bed didn’t work. The shower was also dirty upon arrival.

Location and price were awesome.

I booked a double Queen for me and a male friend. When I get to check in I was put in a single King. One of us was forced to sleep in a rollaway bed. I think the Midwest should always have biscuits and gravy for breakfast.

The breakfast lady was upset because someone didn't come in so she was yelling at people to clean up their plates. (It was a bunch of young kids in town for a science event)

Great location, we walked to the recordBar to hear a band, walked to restaurants.

The staff were very friendly, professional, and helpful. The hot breakfast exceeded our expectations and was served with joy. Having the trolley stop right outside the hotel made travel in the downtown area a breeze.

Location, Location, Location - streetcar stop right outside the front doors - walking distance to Power and Light District.

Television issues with channels and remote. Housekeeping only came 2 of of the 6 nights we stayed. We had to request toilet paper and additional towels and they were not delivered.

I liked this hotel because the Streetcar stops at the door of the hotel, the staff was extremely friendly and very professional and a nice gym & breakfast

Absolutely Terrific! Everyone was extremely helpful and polite. Front desk hotel employee was very kind, giving personal attention. The rooms were lovely and larger than I thought for downtown. This would be any easy pick to come back to: highly recommend!

We had a corner room and the bathroom was very small.

I would have liked access to a Jacuzzi. The hotel didn't have one as far as I know.

We booked this last minute and were so impressed with this hotel! The location was perfect and had a way cooler vibe than your typical Hampton (they are all nice but this one was awesome!). We slept better than we ever do at a hotel! Loved!

Cars driving by the front throwing up gang signs and yelling obscenities.

Check in was awful. I drove 8 hours that day. Arrived at 2:00 pm. Told room wasn't ready should be ready at 3:00 pm. Still no room. Had to lug all my luggage back to car.They said they would call when ready.had event to go to.No call.returnedat10pm

Clean & location

waited an hour to check in room, person checking us in forgot we were waiting, once checked in the card or key didn't work later that evening

Proximity to I-70

Bathroom was unclean, the baseboards falling off the wall. Was not notified until checkout that there was an additional fee for pets. Parking is a block away, down a dimly lit alley with no surveillance. Valet service unavailable.

The hotel was very clean!! Hotel employee  at the front desk was helpful and super kind!

We stayed in a double queen room and it was just tight - not much room around the beds/desk.

The cleanliness

The to-go breakfast was a joke. Only a muffin, cookie and water given. I understand due to corona the hotel didn’t want to risk on serving breakfast, but they could have at least provided to-go cereal, bottled juices/ milk breakfast bars or fruit cups?
