Hampton Inn Kansas City-Airport

Put us in what they called accessible rooms. Bathroom smelled. No way a wheelchair or walker would be usable in this room. Good thing we didn’t need them.

Nothing it was ok, first time there

Rooms were smaller than I was use to at Hampton , cold. Breakfast 1st day, but after that everything was good.

Proximity to airport

I’m pretty positive there were bed bugs. I was there for less than 6 hours. Had no bites before bed. Woke up after less than four hours of sleep with multiple bites all over. Paranoid now as I’m a super clean person and immunocompromised. Bed was Hard

Very friendly staff and shuttle was great getting to the airport. Breakfast was good.

it's clean and convenient location. the tvin the room had no Chanells that were working very frustrating. when I called the hotel directly no one answered.

Front desk clerk was very informed about the area and airport information.She was friendly and engaging, Staff was the shuttle driver and he was very personable and outstanding,he had a lot of knowledge about the area,he was truly a delight

It needs an indoor pool.

Promised overnight parking and when I arrived, I couldn¿t have it because the parking lot needed resurfacing. I wasn¿t informed that they were remodeling when I was looking at hotels. The rooms were very tight with little room to walk past the beds.

Under construction, parking lot full of potholes, no long-term parking when told otherwise.

While it was under construction the room was already renovated and 100% clean. The lobby & surrounding area was obviously a construction zone but it had to happen sometime. Early morning noise but I believe that was due to the location on our room.

The hotel is an obscurely located and currently remodeling. The lobby is in a hallway that used to be the laundry room while under construction. No vending machines available, but the staff did provide cookies when asked. The breakfast was below average.

Nearness to the Kansas City airport. Major renovations were going on. Not many rooms were occupied, so it was quiet overnight, which was good, but we were surprised by the amount of work being done in so many places.

Entering the front door in a covered, temporary tunnel area, my tall husband banged his head against the metal structure supports. Watch out for that!

Close to Zona Rosa. Staff was nice. Parking was free.

Pool closed & it was the reason we stayed there. Rooms are small. Beds are full size not queen. Horribly uncomfortable. We could feel the springs. The ac didn¿t work well. Breakfast was subpar.

Friendly staff, close proximity to MCI airport and shuttle availability.

Currently being updated and construction, but this is not an issue as my mention here is to inform.

The hotel turned the ac units in the rooms (and hallways) completely off on a day when it was 96+ degrees outside. The ac in our first room did not work so they moved us to the adjoining room that was 86 degrees. We were miserably hot all night.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with our TV. Told front desk on our way to dinner. When we returned everything was working properly. Breakfast was very nice.

Room and beds did not meet typical Hampton standard. Breakfast sub par as well.

This hotel is a little hard to find. It is tucked back in on a road you can easily miss.
