Absolutely gorgeous historic hotel with a very attentive and polite staff in a walkable area. I really wish that we had been in town longer to get to enjoy it more.

Immaculately clean, charming, historic and friendly. A great view when you can get it. A KC favorite.

Parking lot view but it still has a snippet of the Plaza!

Yes. The air conditioner did not work. The refrigerator did not work. I purchased a wall charger that did not work. I told these things to the front desk but they said they could not help me with anything (other than the wall charger) bec I used pricelin

The bellman/valet staff are second to none.

When you book through a booking site, you are never recognized as a Marriott Rewards Member. If their website offered the same rates, we would be happy to book direct.

The staff were kind and helpful.

For the cost, our room was quite average. However, the historical aspect of the building was appreciated.

The atmosphere, staff and room were the best ever experienced anywhere! I am very particular on hotel cleanliness and could find no fault with this hotel at all. It was extremely clean no matter if it was the hallways, elevator, lobby or the actual room.

Breakfast service nice, but food average at best, and very slow.

I liked the location the best.

The staff was very unfriendly. The room did not get serviced even when asked to. Ran out of towels, was late to dinner waiting or more towels to shower before leaving. Horrible layout, bathroom was cramped and the tub drain was extremely slow.

The room was dated, but Ok.

You will be paying 3 x retail for nothing but ugly decor and horrible food.

Front desk staff were excellent when I checked in. Man newly hired from Florida couldn't have been nicer!

There was noise outside of my window in the wee hours, 1-2am. Sounded like someone power-washing.

Beautiful,classy, historic hotel. Love the boutique ambiance. Valet parking is the same price as self-park, nice that it wasn't extra. Several comfortable seating areas outside and inside to listen to live entertainment. Enjoyed the Chaz dinner/brunch

Perfect location, beautiful accommodation, excellent staff, no complaints! We were accidentally charged for one item from the snack tray that we didn't use, it was promptly removed and resolved! We will definitely be back!!

Location was great. Hotel restaurant and live music was outstanding both evenings.

Our room wasn't ready for an hour. There were technical difficulties with our room both nights - woke us up in the middle of the night three times during our stay. For the price of the room, we expected a better experience.

The historic ambiance of this hotel is quite fitting to the rich history of the Kansas City Plaza. While there isn't a pool (which is a drawback), there are offering such as the Music on the Green and live Jazz in the lounge. Walking distance to Plaza

It's grand BUT WITHOUT the grandeur of ballrooms, hallway mazes to lead you to new areas ... it's compact in it's "lobby" offerings.

Although nice ambiance room wasnt ready had to wait till 6:30 First floor room no privacy nice view but everyone else did too! Kinda musky AC was weak and had problems with faucet handles Didn''t really live up to the hype for an expensive room!

Spacious rooms, great shower, and Chaz lounge was nice

Website said shuttle service, which made me think they shuttle to certain places in the plaza, but they did not offer any kind of shuttle service. It was misleading.

Peaceful & conveniently located for my mini staycation. Room service was pleasant & prompt.

At the end of my stay I found hair that didn't belong to me on the unused side of the bed. Pretty gross but I was getting ready to leave so I didn't mention it. Mini bar juice was expired.

Loved the location, the friendliness of the staff, the fresh fruit in the lobby, towels and cold water in the workout room.

Our view, we wished our windows faced the plaza.
