Pros +
- Very clean, updated, staff, valet parking
- Upscale and close to destination.
- Everyone was extremely friendly from the front desk to valet. Everyday was an awesome experience. Harley the Valet personnel was amazing! He was so professional and pleasant.
Cons -
- The area the hotel was located is somewhat run down, abandoned buildings, streetscape was poorly maintained. Not the hotel fault. Kansas City should invest in the area to make it more attractive. Kind of sad because the T-Mobile arena is 2 blocks away.
- Cheap toilet paper and tissue. Shampoo and conditioner were awful! The bed didn't seem like a king, more like a queen. Room was hot and thermostat was locked at certain temps. Parking is very expensive.
- I?m not sure how busy the hotel was but there was someone across the hall from us which didn?t bother us. The guests upstairs we could hear through the vents. The guests beside us, their doors slamming shut.

Friendly Staff, Nice, clean room. We were there on New Years eve / Day. Ate dinner at the restaurant, enjoyed the downtown festivities.
Cleanliness
No affordable parking available. Gave us the wrong room. Charged us twice.
The hotel was pretty, all the staff we encountered was very nice.
Location wasn¿t really ideal, restaurant food was not good nor cooked correctly due to kitchen staffing not coming in, the mini bar pricing was written on crinkled paper.
Dinner at the restaurant was good.
The bed wasn't very comfortable and the woman at he the reception desk in the morning was a bit short with me when explaining what to do with the hotel keys during check out.
Great location by Power & Light District & Sprint Center! Hotel has great architecture & ambiance! Clean, comfortable new room in the south tower with nice features & amenities. The Reserve Restaurant has a great chef. Our breakfasts were delicious!
We had a lovely stay. We was wonderful being able to just walk to the Sprint Center. We loved the food and drink during happy hour. Everyone was very friendly. The room was very spacious. We will definitely be staying here again.
Excellent location. Very convenient to Sprint Center and Power and Light District.
a little pricey
I LIKED THE STYLE OF THE HOTEL, A MIX BETWEEN MORDERN AND CONTEMPORARY. THE EMPLOYEES WERE SUPER NICE AND HELPFUL. WILL DEFINITELY STAY THERE AGAIN.
WE HAD FOOD AND DRINKS WITH FRIENDS BEFORE AND AFTER THE SHOW WE ATTENDED BUT THERE WAS NOT A MICROWAVE AROUND. A LITTLE MICROWAVE TUCKED AWAY LIKE THE REFRIGERATOR WAS WOULD HAVE RATED 10/10 ACROSS THE BOARD.
Everything honestly
Expensive parking but that's to be expected
Room
The room was very comfortable but the shower was awesome!
Loved the atmosphere of this historic, boutique hotel. It was absolutely top-notch in every way!
They allowed dogs and were very accommodating and friendly.
not really
Staff
We enjoyed the upgrade room and the amenities it provided.
When we woke up our room around 7:00 am and it was 65 degrees. We moved the thermostat up and checked to make sure it was set correctly for heat. After an hour we called the desk and the receptionist Carolyn came to our room and tried it also. After realizing it wasn’t working she said a technician would be up to check it. We asked for a blanket and she brought a thin blanket and a mattress cover along with a space heater. She said he would be up about 8:00. Later she called and said it would be 9:00. The tech arrived around 9:00. He worked on it and then came back with a ladder and replaced the filter. It took a while but with the space heater it finally got warm. When we checked out I asked her if we could receive compensation for the problems with the heat. She took off the valet fee. I am not one to stand and argue with people so we took that. We feel like we should have received more compensation. We are Bonvoy members and only stay on Marriott properties when we travel. This stay was for my wife’s birthday.
Clean, comfortable.
Late checkout was apparently not properly noted - resulted in front desk and housekeeping contacting/checking on us when it was not necessary.
