Rodeway Inn Kansas City Downtown Area

I had to change rooms because their were mice in my room. The beds were not clean.

Room was decent enough, bed was comfy.

I need more characters. Said it was pet friendly, then charged a fee about half the room charge to allow a support animal. Tried to say fee was only payable in cash, probably so the clerk could pocket it without reporting it since it wasn't a real fee.

I had an emergency and had to leave at 9:30pm and the front desk employee; refused to give me a partial or full refund. He just stood there looking cocky

The location in relation to the town.

The room was dirty, there was still used soap in the shower. Walk on the floor barefoot and your feet would get black

Not kept up very much. Room was clean except for the hairdryer being randomly covered with something sticky. We had to plus the fridge in ourselves, after figuring out it was not working. Lots of broken outlets.

Nothing rude employee

When I pulled up there was 3 police cars rite out side the property and a meth head girl walking through the parking lot bare foot in the rain begging for money and went in to a room I felt very unsafe to stay at this motel so I tired to cancel and couldn

We walked into the room and the toilet had obviously been used. The room stunk and there was green flecks all over the bed. We paid for the room but didn't stay, we left immediately, ate the charge and went to the comfort inn down the road.

The staff was friendly and helpful. They made our stay pleasant and were open to helping us with our wants and needs to give us a comfortable and pleasant stay.

The breakfast offered at the hotel was a bit overtaken by carbs. It would be nice to have a few more protein options.

Conveniently located near bus stops and 30 minutes walk (not recommended) to downtown

Sound proofing is terrible in this hotel. I could hear my neighbors' TV at low volume at all times. Pets are allowed, so I also heard a neighbor's bird at all hours. Management cuts corners: fewer pillows, no hand soap, no kleenex, poor toilet paper, etc.

Free hotdogs and cookies in the evening and a hot breakfast in the morning, Staff was so friendly!

Wi-Fi for the single bed rooms (Engenius South) is not working.

Felt unsafe, bed bugs, room stunk, stained floors, floors felt like they were gonna give out.

It was inexpensive.

It was not in a great location and terrible parking.

Close to downtown!!! Less than 5 minutes or cheap cab ride. What you can expect for the price close to downtown.

Cleanliness of room could be questioned. It is like you are stepping back to the 60's.

Great hotel for the price they ask. The staff aren't fluent in English, but know just enough to get business done. From the outside, the place looks a bit sketchy, but the rooms themselves are deceptively nice. I chose this place due to its proximity to the nearby Greyhound station--I would definitely go there again if I ever found myself in a similar situation.

Never book it for the 15th and you kept changing the place location . What a scamm. I’m out of 100 bucks and never got a room for the night I book it .
