    Pros +

    • I liked the old parts of the hotel. You could tell it was a historic building. I would have loved to read a quick display somewhere about its history.
    • Staff was friendly and the hotel was generally nice and clean.
    • Close to power and light, historic feel of a building, lots of elevators.

    Cons -

    • Parking. It was stated that parking was onsite for $45. Upon arrival, it was vallet-only. This should have been clearly stated, as we were not comfortable with vallet, and the only other option presented was street parking.
    • Something spilled next to bed upon arrival but room was otherwise very clean. Booked a King but received a double queen. No cell service in room which isn't their issue, but their wifi was out. Close to P&L but a very high homeless population on the walk.
    • I was surprised that the homeless population was very high around this specific area. The bar was not open our first night, which is a big factor for booking hotels. Pizza boxes laying on our floor by the elevators for over two days.

The extra $45 fee that was added that we weren't informed about upon check in, we were quoted $---for two nights but were charged $520.

The parking I thought it was in a garage for the price and valet

    10MariePosted on: 1-19-2026

Staff was extremely friendly! We were given a room away from the elevators so we wouldn't be disturbed, and it was so peaceful! Very clean, very modern and we would stay again if we were going to be in the area!

The staff were friendly and accommodating…elevators were plentiful when needed to get to our top floor room. Loved the lavender packets in the evenings!

    Wish there was a pool

Hotel staff was friendly and welcoming. The price was great. The rooms were large and well-appointed.

Nice modern rooms and facilities. Very friendly staff

The walk up hill from the streetcar (not their fault)

Modern renovated hotel within easy walking distance to T-Mobile center in the Power and Light District in KCMO. Nice breakfast buffet is available. Staff are very friendly and polite. Prices this weekend were well below most other hotels in the area making it a best choice. Would definitely return if attending activities in the area.

    Nothing really..

The location - it was not close to other amenities

Nothing, short stay but great stay.

    Good location

Housekeeping was poor they only took rubbish and replaced towels . One day even this didn’t happen

    10NealPosted on: 10-6-2025

Great location, very clean, and the staff was very helpful/attentive.

    No complaints!

    10MelaniePosted on: 10-1-2025

The hotel itself was nice- our beds were extra comfy and it was quiet on our floor.

Valet at $45/ day is crazy. Especially since it was just parked street side and not a garage. The location was a little sketch and not as close to Power & Light as we thought and walk to there did not feel safe.

    7LorrainePosted on: 9-10-2025

The check in staff were kind, polite and knowledgeable about local amenities.

The neighborhood felt like skid row. Junkies laying out on the street gave an open air drug market feel.

    10JasminePosted on: 9-1-2025

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Easy going and polite. I will b staying in the future for sure!

The noise outside but it’s downtown so it is expected.
