The Inn at Shattuck - St. Mary's

The inn is on a beautiful historical campus that is now a boarding school. According to the hotel staff, there was a lot of history that went along with the inn itself. It was very clean with comfortable bed. You are surrounded by nature!

Very friendly front desk, history of the Inn was very interesting! Rooms very clean and comfortable beds.

Clean, quiet and very friendly staff.

Beds were not very comfortable, and probably due for replacement.

No staff on duty for a late check in. Process to check in late was sent very late and confusing. No staff present when requesting bath towels (2 left for 4 people), and had to use wash cloths to dry off.

No surface areas on which to put luggage or other items. The online photos of a 2 queen room were extremely misrepresented of what we actually were given.

Located in an old college infirmary, this hotel has architectural class. It was beautiful.

The view was beautiful in the fall. New upgraded shower.

The breakfast at The Inn at Shattuck does offer a variety of beverages from juice to hot drinks. Food options are not great. They range from fruit, cereal, and microwavable breakfast sandwiches.

This is a beautiful and quaint inn. We loved our room and it had a beautiful fall view. The staff was very kind and welcoming.

The parking was a bit tough but nothing we couldn’t handle.

We loved this historic charm of this place—well renovated!

Lack of nearby dining options

Everything! Rooms were exceptionally clean. Breakfast Nook was well stocked. Beautiful grounds and outside seating area.

This place was the cutest Inn. Staff was very friendly. Very clean rooms and had more space than I thought.I booked a studio and it did not feel cramped at all. My daughter had the king room with cute sitting area and sofa bed. It had a relaxing ambiance. I would highly recommend especially if you have a child going to the summer camp that right on campus.

The hotel is very historical on the grounds of the local college and with such an amazing history from the late 1880s to today, was very neat ! It's small, quaint, blocks from downtown Faribault. It's priced a little more then the main street chain hotels by the interstate, but safer because it's on the grounds of a college surrounded by residential subdivisions. You will feel safe!

The only thing I didn't like was the jacuzzi hot tub/spa. I was expecting the jacuzzi to be a hot tub standalone, but the hot tub is a shower-jacuzzi tub like you would see in any residential house. Barely can fit two people, not able to socialize or have that face-to-face interaction.

Clean, Comfortable, Location and Breakfast, Peanut Butter!!!

Everything. The room was a perfect size. The inn is small and out of the hustle and bustle of the downtown but downtown was easily accessible. It was on a college campus but very quiet. The view out my window was a forest. The kitchen was well stocked for breakfast. And it was beautifully decorated for Christmas. A charming Inn.

The bed was too soft. It was very hard to find. My GPS didn't help.

The room has all the amenities we like to have, the price is reasonable, it is quiet, and the location is gorgeous.

There were not enough parking spaces.There was a dead insect on the floor in our room.

In a hurry, but the coffee selections were great and the baked goods fresh. :)

Would have liked to stay longer

Gorgeous windows with a beautiful view and excellent blackout shades for a good nights sleep. Our room was very large and comfortable.

Having a community, refrigerator and freezer and no fridge in the room was awkward because my son and I both have life-saving medicine that needs to be refrigerated. Keeping that medicine in a community area wasn't ideal and felt a little risky.

Beautiful setting, comfortable room, peaceful vibe, kitchen and goodies were perfect. Frig for the floor with post its was really nice concept. Even wine opener and glasses - classy and thoughtful Elevator was convenient even with only two levels
