Holiday Inn Express - Albert Lea By IHG

Our room was so hot and even by turning heat down to 61 degrees, it never cooled down. It was so difficult to sleep. It had to have been over 70 degrees.

Elevator size, noise level, location

Hotel has been neglected. Needs remodeling. Bathroom was the worst part. Stains everywhere. Bathtub took 5 to drain.

The location is nice. The breakfast is nice.

This was advertised to have pool and hot tub and that is why we chose this hotel. When we arrived it was closed for repair. I feel we should¿ve gotten a partial refund for it.

We were given a handicap room without being told Dirtiest hotel on an 18 nite vacation Bed was hard Shower sucked Towels were threadbare

Room was very spacious and well appointed.

The breakfast was not well kept or attended. Things ran out and nobody was around to tell.

Flies everywhere, multiple. Staff offered a fly swatter and also offered to switch rooms, but in the same breath said they are everywhere we can¿t get rid of them.

Was extremely clean, very quiet and a fantastic breakfast, excellent bed and pillows

Didn't clean the room the next day and didn't give clean linen and the pool wasn't all that clean

Fecal material dried on toilet; filter was dirty; no bathroom exhaust fan; height of shower head too low & could not be adjusted; Staff with the exception of the breakfast server was unprofessional. We could hear cursing and inappropriate conversations.

It is fairly new, nice accommodations. Good breakfast.

Outdoor landscaping left something to be desired.

The late night check in clerk was fantastic! Incredibly friendly and made our kiddos smile.

We went down to have breakfast 8:40ish. There wasn't even enough for my mom to have one plate of food. The breakfast lady was touching the biscuits with her bare hands. She was touching her face and then touching everything thing on the breakfast bar.

The staff was very friendly. The rooms are spacious and pleasant. The continental breakfast was very good. (So glad you are serving a hot breakfast!) It's far enough away from the main road so you don't get all the noise.

The pool and hot tub were very chlorinated, kind of burned the eyes, but otherwise were nice. The elevator is on the slow side but I don't suppose there is much you can do about that.

Hotel was clean, grab n go breakfast was good.

Pool/workout room was closed due to covid..

The hotel room is a nice sized room and the bed is fairly comfortable.

One of the garbage cans was not emptied from the previous guest.

I expected a little more from a Holiday Inn Express. It was a basic room with a bed and chair...the listing when booked I think said a King Suite or something like that. Nice but not impressed!
