Homewood Suites By Hilton Detroit/Troy

It was just newly renovated so everything looks new and clean. The room was spacious. My husband loved the size of the bathroom.

When I booked it is said checkout was 12:00pm but 10 minutes before 11:00 am we were called by the front desk if we will be checking out at 11:00. So we had to rush packing and getting ready to check out.

breakfast was decent

The building was old. The floor and wall were paper thin. I could hear every single foot steps from upstairs, which disturbed my sleep everyday when I stayed there.

Convenient location for me

This hotel is old and they have not taken the time to renovate or improve. Why is it so highly rated?Raggedy carpet and floor, stained ceiling. Mold on bathroom grout. Nasty stained chairs. Was too tired after 9 hour drive to change. Bed ok. Never again.

clean, comfortable, homey

Wasn’t a hotel but extended stay. Was disgusting. Food and trash was on the floor in the hallways, dirt on the walls, food from previous guest on countertop, and dirty silverware in dishwasher. Gross smell in hotel.

It was comfortable

The bathtub was horrible. The shape of tub wouldn't allow standing without hanging onto the single grab bar. Slippery and shaped like a bowl. I was unable to complete a good shower because of this.

I was bit by something in the bed sleeping on my face/neck.

This is the best staff I've ever encountered in a hotel. They treated my kids and I like we were on a cruise ship. Awesome awesome awesome TEAM. Keep up the good work I will definitely be staying there again.

There is no hot tub and the pool is way too cold. should be at warmed so people can get in Especially in the Winter.kids enjoyed it but wanted to get out quickly. Most people stuck their foot in and left the pool because it is too COLD!!

It was clean and staff was nice.

The breakfast was a little crowded and they ran out of things like silverware.

Everything was GREAT!

The rate somehow was WAY HIGHER than when we stayed there the previous month!

The room was cool, I love the privacy of the one bedroom.

Room was beyond clean. Staff was friendly.

That the hotel was very close to many big box retail store chains.

That the kitchen chairs needed spot cleaning.

The location

Had issues from the first day of chevon and second day of staying.. I will never take my family to this hotel ever again. I was very disappointed in the service and customer service 😞 wasn't happy at all..

I enjoyed this hotel. I just wish that we were closer to an exit (because we are smokers).

I wasn't expecting such a large suite for such a great price.

The Staff was AMAZING!!! We enjoyed ourselves! They went out of their way to make us feel at home and make it a great experience!
