It was clean

Toilet was ridiculously low and the doors slammed instead of closing softly

The sorrounding área was safe.

I could tell it was remodeled but some of the finishes were low quality.

Hotel employee at the front desk. Absolutely the best check-in ever. Such a great, friendly, and funny young lady..

No in-room coffee.

Very clean and updated

Breakfast options were terrible. The staff working the breakfast area was wonderful and kind but the options just weren’t there.

This hotel was located well for our trip -- which was for a wedding nearby. The price was good. Breakfast was very nice.

The walls seemed to be rather thin-could hear the couple next door; could hear others in the hallway. Why can people not be a bit more quiet when they walk the hallways during late night hours? Not the hotel's fault for rude guests. Pool water was chilly

Location and staff

The smell in the bedroom (like some kind of smoke. we changed rooms and it was the same in the 2nd room)

I greatly appreciated the kindness from the hotel staff as well as the overall cleanliness of the hotel. I needed to stay at the hotel after checkout to have a meeting over Zoom and the staff told me to take my time without a rush. I felt comforted.

The only thing I didn't like about this hotel is that I saw some hairs in my bathroom sink that weren't mine. For some reason, that was the only part of my room that wasn't cleaned very well.

The decor, the staff, and the comfort of the beds

No hot tub

Everyone was very polite, friendly, caring we had a great experience, it was my mother (dementia patient) and myself her daughter we had great conversation with the breakfast attendant and our checkout person was very understanding

A little hard to find at night (dark) time

Convenient location and good breakfast. Drivable distance to Uni of Michigan Ann Arbor Campus.

Rooms could use some upgrades and repairs.

Though they were doing construction we weren't bothered with any noise but there was a lot of construction materials around and mattresses stacked up in view. Room had been updated and was clean.

Description said room would have fridge and microwave so I brought things to heat up, but the microwave had been removed and not yet replaced so that was an inconvenience. They did leave access to the microwave in the breakfast area off the lobby.

Nice room and quiet area. Good breakfast

The staff was good especially the lady serving breakfast. The pool was nice and the location was perfect and close to family we were visiting.

There was mold around the bathroom tub and the room needs some updating.

The big common area

Minor point: Could have used another towel hanger at the sink. The water pressure wasn't great.

The manager, was very nice and friendly. We loved in the breakfast room. She made our day with her cheerfulness and helpfulness. The free breakfast was fantastic.

Bathroom horrible. Shower head poorly mounted and leaky. At check in told housekeeping visited daily but when we came back the first day and found it hadn't been cleaned, housekeeper we met in the hall said you had to request service 24 hours in advance.

I liked the location. I liked that I felt safe traveling alone in this hotel. I liked the price. Bed very comfortable. Nice breakfast selection. I

No refrigerator. Coffee pot missing a piece needed to brew the bag at the top. Had to soak the coffee bag in hot water myself instead of brewing. Hair dryer broken and disconnected from wall. I turned it in at front desk.

Alright for the price. Breakfast was pretty good, well stocked. The staff was very nice. I did report a problem with the bathroom. They seemed appreciative that it was reported. Unless you actually used the shower, you wouldn't notice it so housekeeping c

I understand that they don't service rooms daily but we RARELY saw a housekeeping cart. I notified the front desk that the upstairs hallway needed vacuuming.

The room & bedding was comfortable. Staff was friendly.

The hallway carpet had black in it, so I am sure that it is challenging to keep perfectly clean and vacuumed, but it looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in quite a while so I was concerned as I walked to our room. The room, however, was clean.

Parking

We.were not pleased with our booking for a particular reason. The basic hotel function of water was shut off for an entire day. This disrupted my meetings without access to sink, toilet, or shower. Staff didn't give prior notice when checking in.

Location, newer carpet that was clean, much better than the last 2 rooms I stayed at elsewhere that advertised excellent ratings. I will stay there next time I visit Michigan.

Bathroom is in need of renovation, I will leave it at that
