Pros +

  • Cleanliness Location Staff
  • Location right on Ludington Ave is great. Staff was friendly. Room was neat and clean. Bed was comfortable. Appreciate the mini-fridge and Keurig coffee maker. Generous 12 noon check-out time. Nice garden area with Koi pond.
  • We had a wonderful experience. We had at first booked a queen room. Too rustic for us. We upgraded to a king room. Very comfortable. Great shower and bed. Good food for breakfast. This was like a little retreat. The people that own this Inn are kind.

Cons -

  • Cost
  • Check-in clerk taught us how to use TV remote. Had to pre-order free breakfast & make appointment time to eat. Bathroom was cozy. Bkfst was average, portion was small. No late check in because office closes at 9 PM. Expected more luxury for the $$$$.
  • The sign for the hotel was hard to find. The times for check-in were listed in military time and should have been more clear. Also, the time to check in should be extended.

The staff was amazing and the room was decorated really cute and cozy.

The room was adorable. It obviously had a dampness problem. It smelled and had a large bucket of damp rid in the middle of the room. Very cozy room. But also very old.

The ladies were great.

the room was so small, very stuffy, the breakfast options were difficult for my allergies.

8Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 8-26-2019

The breakfast was amazing. We had made to order omelets, fresh fruit, and homemade cinnamon raisin bread. Our room was clean and updated. The attendant at check-in was friendly.

The hotel is a remodeled motel. Our room was tiny. My husband was rather frustrated that there was no coffee in the room. It was only available at 7 am in the common area. He is an early riser and he did not like that one bit.

Clean, quaint lodging close to the main downtown drag. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful about what there was to do in town. I plan on staying there again on a subsequent visit. No doubt.

Small, clean, easy to get too once we got off the boat. Very pleasant and the breakfast in the morning was hand made and really good.

Not enough free outlets in the room to plug in two cell phones and a laptop

It is veey quaint and I LOVED THE outside seating area. It had a pond, waterfall and deck. It also had a seating room with games and books which was very nice having those options to get out of the room but not leave the inn.

The water in the room was not very hot when it came to showers.

It was a cute little motel in a great location. I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit Ludington.

Wonderful made to order omelet with fresh fruit and homemade toast.

The host and hostess are the best and the breakfast they prepare for their guests is the best! The grounds are beautiful and the room was so welcoming and clean.

No!

Rather quaint and the rooms were small...but extremely clean, grounds beautiful, restaurants nearby, and the best homemade breakfast we've had in years.

10SydneyPosted on: 8-29-2017

The staff were all very wonderful. The rooms were cute and very clean, and the breakfast was phenomenal!

9Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 7-22-2017

Staff was amazing. Bent over backwards to make us feel at home. Breakfast was homemade and delicious. They catered to the ferry crowd. They also cater to the wine drinking hipsters, with a very nice garden and covered seating. Not crowdwed.

Rooms are a bit small. Older one story building missing some modern basics. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. Communal microwave outside under a covered walkway. No room refrigerator. No soap/shampoo supplied.

Stylish decor, breakfast, friendly staff, beautiful grounds, comfortable bed.

8RobertPosted on: 6-14-2017

breakfast, new king mattress

small bathtub and bathroom, vertical blinds didn't work

5Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 8-6-2016

The breakfast was wonderful! The staff was very kind and accomodating

It is basically an old fashioned motor lodge. The room was very small and the bathroom not very user friendly. The air conditioning was very ineffective.

10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 6-27-2016

I was late for check-in and I received a confirmation call from the staff. She was pleasant and helpful. The room was spotless and beautifully prepared. The experience exceeded my expectations. This is a hidden jewel.
