Hampton Inn Detroit/Roseville

Yes..it was dirty..carpets were filthy,floors were not mopped during our entire trip,employees were eating at the breakfast displacing guests,maintenance manpushed next to me and shortly after my bank notified me that my credit card had been hacked.beware

The staff was friendly, 2 miles from my home, it was clean the breakfast was on time. Kids enjoyed the pool area.

Jacuzzi jets wasn't working

tipped the housekeeper 4 extra towels (didn¿t think they¿d be cleaning the room). They came in, cleaned and took the towels I¿d tipped for earlier. Empty pop can behind table. Nite 3-large group of kids loudly raced up and down the halls til after 11pm.

Breakfast is a excellent! Rooms very clean. Great staff.

The coffee was cold and the milk they had for cereal was sour.

Weekends it¿s a little loud. During the week it¿s peaceful and quiet. Also the elevators had a funny smell.

It was close to my destination. Breakfast was average and staff was friendly. Room had fridge and microwave. Bed was super comfy.

Little to no soundproofing, I could hear every noise out in the hall. Shower was weak and nearly rolled my ankle because the drain was recessed.

The staff is very personable and helpful. With the current difficulties of short staffing, they still manage not to leave anyone waiting too long for service. That is commendable. The rooms are comfortable, if a little outdated. But they are clean though.

I liked the front office staff. They were very personable and friendly.

I asked to have the coffee replaced on my 2nd day again on the 3rd day. It was never done on either request. My son had his own room and asked to have his room cleaned and it was not done for his entire stay (4 days.)

The room was a nice size

Breakfast was over at 10am. The quilt on the bed was old you can tell the foam in side was Lumpy like it was washed too many times

This is my 2nd time staying there & the lady who works the front desk is always courteous, helpful, & swift with the service. She definitely deserves to be running the show. She care about her customers comfort.

Strangely enough, the TV. The remote would only work if you were so far from it. I had to be halfway across the room before it would register & change the channel. Weird

Leaving

For ~$--- a night, one would expect hot breakfast, clean room, parking lot security, etc. Had none of these. Won't be staying at Hampton Inn or Hilton chain. Oh, and no alarm clock. Must I go on?

Leaving this hole. Have had better experiences at $-- flop houses.

Had truck break-in in parking lot. No breakfast as advertised. Coffee ran out repeatedly. Didn't clean room for six nights, no towel or sheet replacements or room service. Unacceptable excuses when obviously corporate price gouging. Never patronize again.

Beds were comfortable

My room had no shower curtain and I checked in about 8:30 pm and my door was propped slightly opened

Stayed total of 3 days requested for clean up nothing was done was not happy about it had a wedding group there a lot of complaints where there was no gathering bad experience.

Major humming from fridge, could not miss it, I just turned off but hotel should fix

Cleanliness

Hotel employee who worked at the front desk was incredible! It seemed like she was always at the front desk and she was super helpful every time I asked for something. Location was convenient for the purpose of my trip.

Pool, fitness center, laundry were closed. No free breakfast, glad I did not pay full price. I found another place to do laundry, because I ended up staying an extra four nights. Walls were thin, some other guests were very noisy throughout the night.
