Sands By The Sea Motel

That was it was directly across from the beach, the outside pool is heated, when we thought we were lost (we were in the back parking lot) the staff member working came out back to meet us to show us how to get to the front office, 1 room had kitchenette

it was a little tricky trying to figure out where we needed to go to park

it is convenient to the beach and the village area with the shops, arcarde and restraunts The pool was decent but crowded during the day , we did take a night swim because it is open till 10pm

The bathroom was small and the water was impossible to keep off the floor It is close to the main road and the traffic was loud - also a club 2 doors down was very loud at nite , we could hear the music still at 1am the price is a little steep

The location was excellent. OJ, one of the staff was great and his eating recommendations were spot on for us

Room was outdated, need to was the windows, fix the drapes so they close, defrost the mini fridge freezer.

Dirty and small room-way overpriced for that. Pool was dirty as well.

The water in the bathroom sink did not work right and the cable service on the tv kept cutting out every few seconds, but other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

To say the room was dated is an understatement. The pullout couch bed was broken on one end. The bathroom had a rusted mirror and rusted light fixtures with different size light bulbs, the tub was covered in vinyl but sunk in spots when stepped on.

The location is phenomenal and the staff was incredibly friendly. I was swimming with my kids and lost track of time for check-out. I stopped in to apologize, saying we'd hustle. They said, "It's OK, we knew you were out there having fun at the pool."

The booking said the room had two beds and a sofa, so we'd hoped one kiddo could crash on the sofa. But there was only a chair in there. But I didn't mention it and we made it work.

Location-walking distance to the beach, zoo, arcade, restaurants, etc...

You're paying primarily for the location, not the hotel itself. We primarily just slept at the hotel so luxuries you'd find at other hotels are worth sacrificing.

The location is very convenient to the major local attractions. The bathroom appeared to have been recently remodeled.

The rooms are on the small side and exposed to noise from kids playing in the motel pool, and the beds are very creaky. Most of the available parking spaces are in a poorly lit area behind the motel.

The location was excellent. We were very close to the beach.

The bed was very soft.
