Location, new and clean, well appointed rooms and lobby. Fridge, microwave in room. Tea and hot water always available - which I really like! Ive machine on my floor (working unlike many)

I loved the room, location and best of all the breakfast buffet on Saturday was awesome! However, cook didn't come in on Sunday and the buffet was mediocre.

Although there was a fridge (and microwave),it should ALWAYS be kept chilled for the guests. It did not keep anything cold and we had to toss some things. The shower was hot the first night for one of us; it was lukewarm the next morning for both.:(
It was very clean and room was spacious. Staff were friendly. Breakfast bar did not have a lot of variety but foods were good. We liked the proximity to the LSU campus (easy drive) and how it is right off I-10.
It is in a slightly torn down neighborhood but we were not surprised considering many towns off I-10 are so in Louisiana. The neighborhood did not feel unsafe so we were okay with the location.

Hotel employee at the front desk was very helpful and had great customer service skills.
Air conditioner did not get cold enough to sleep at night. After multiple attempts I got tired and just went to sleep. Other then that nice hotel
