Hampton Inn & Suites Baton Rouge/Port Allen

Customer service unprofessional and room smelled. Had to change rooms cause air conditioner didn?t work. On top that. Housekeeping kept my expensive makeup and bag I left. Call front desk today. Receptionist rude and stated after few weeks they throw

The pool was down the entire stay and the system kept going down, however the Management staff were able to make suitable accomodations for the insufficencies!This speaks volumes!

The staff were very friendly and helpful as we got there really late after a long day on the road. The breakfast was better that we thought it would be. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Location was very convenient to I-10.

The only negative is our room had some defects - like broken tiles in the bathroom and some damages on the walls and the toilet drained slowly, that was about it.

The room itself was very nice.

The bathroom was disgusting. A previous guest must have a bottle of pop explode all over the wall and it was not cleaned up before our visit. The shower had stains on the wall, my wife refused to use it.

Location for our travel needs.

The toilet backed up each day. Had to call for maintenance. The TV signal went off, only able to watch the weather channel.

I always stay at Hampton. This one is convenient

Apparently since I am getting a discounted price I am getting a sub par room. The last 2 times the toilet didn't work (same room both times) and my last visit the AC thermometer on the wall was broken, could not control the air hot water was warm water.

I have always loved the Hampton inn. It is my go to hotel anytime I travel.

It appears that the duvet had not been washed in sometime, unlike the towels that have a wonderful bleach smell, the duvet smelled musty. Very unusual.

Location.

The upholstery was all stained. Liquid and other stuff dried on the walls. There was mold or mildew in the shower on the ceiling. The place did NOT meet expectations for a Hampton. We wanted to change hotels. But it was to late in the night. I took pics.

The customer service at this hotel is outstanding. A billing/payment issue was resolved quickly and professionally. The room was immaculate and the breakfast delicious. I will definitely stay here again!

Close to the freeway.

1st night we had to move rooms due to tv not working. 2nd day, Someone, I assume with the hotel, knocked on our door at 630am and tried to enter the room. Kind of disturbing that they would do that so early in the morning.
